A quest for musical panels

Post by pixiezilla »

This may seem like an odd quest... I am looking for musical panels from Valiant comics... a character singing, listening to music, dancing, that type of thing. I am collecting panels to print out and use to cover a short box, my short boxes are stored in the living room so I like to decorate them. I'm not cutting them from paper comics as that would make me cry, plus the comic paper crinkles when mod podged

I've managed to find a good few Marvel & DC panels but have only spotted 3 Valiant ones so far. I won't post them in case they are spoilery but they are Ninjak singing at the start of the recent Ninjak run, XO talking to a singing bird and an elevator scene from Bloodshot Reborn Analog Man. Here's the XO one, it's not spoilery...

Between comixology & humble bundle I have a pretty big pile of comics to go through. So if anyone can remember seeing a musical panel (I am surprised I haven't found any of Aram singing!) please reply here with the comic you saw it in and I can go find it and add it to my collection,

Thank you kindly!

Late in the second Harbinger arc, when they are showing Torquehalla... He is jumping around with a battle axe while some Megadeath song plays?

A&A are dancing on the cover of #25.
Charlene can be seen pole dancing in Harby #7. Then there's more dancing in the issue directly following HWARS - A Perfect Day - and even more dancing in The Fall of Harbinger issue.

Cartoony stuff - Animalia in Harby #17 and Andy Runton's Owly & Wormy in XO #25 and the Wedding Special.

I really like the screaming Alien in A&A #10 (or 11) although it's neither dancing nor singing.

This is a tough challenge!

fantastic folks! I'll take a look at those, any more you think of will be very welcome.

It is indeed a tough challenge, it started after seeing Midnighter singing in several different books and panel collection has been slow but steady, but very lacking from Valiant so far :) It'll be a pretty awesome short-box when it's done!

What's with the whole 'musical' theme anyway? What inspired that?

It started with this Midnighter panel, Shadowman99...

and then a couple of us started screengrabbing any other musical panels we spotted and one thing led to another, as it does, and it became a theme :) My previous box was panels of Captain America yelling "Bucky", it was alarmingly fast to assemble all the panels for that, I lost count of how many we found! The musical theme is taking a bit more work.

Are you looking at old V1 as well? Many Shadowman comics had scenes of Jack playing.
