She may as well ask for $2,500, it will get the same results.

:o  Either the seller has no idea what comics are worth or is hoping bidders don't have any idea. The 250.00 is a LOST cause without a doubt!

Got another one for you:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... RK:MEWN:IT

The picture shows a Shadowman 0 gold. Sure, the picture's a bit fuzzy, but I can see the gold box and title and figure I'll be pretty safe with a chromium cover. I buy it, expecting a deal, and finally get the book. Shadowman 0 non-chromium. I email the seller, letting her know that this is not the book I purchased. Her response? Her son just grabbed a picture off Google to use in the auction description rather than take a picture of the actual book. By the way, she doesn't have a gold. I told her I wanted a full refund and would send the book back when I got it.

I've been waiting for a week. Today I got a Paypal refund for $2.99 rather than the full 8.99 I paid. :!:

Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed...

Lee and I dealt with a clown who did this twice (and still is listing) a bloodshot 0 as the gold book. I have yet to leave feedback on this clown...

i've seen many regular books listed as gold's recently, its really annoying. It happens most with turok. I think i've seen that same image used in that auction in many other auctions as well.. :/ be weary!

Yeah, it probably does go for $95 in his shop - that's why it's priced at 99 cents on eBay, so it has a (better) chance of selling!

What he should have said... it sits in my shop with a 95-dollar tag on it and everyone is laughing and no one is buying it, so I'm putting it up on ebay.
