So 16 out of 27 sold, that's good news, there is demand and decreasing supply.nonplayer wrote:Hahahahah 11 for sale right now on eBay.

One for $500 Buy It Now (don't expect it to last long). I know some private deals have gone for $400-$450, but this is the cheapest through ebay. Might be hitting our bottom as supply dries up!

Honestly, less than $500 BIN on eBay seems to be a great deal.

Most of these sellers are comic book stores trying to get their moneys worth. Wonder if anyone has tried to seriously low ball one of them...Sunlight on Snow wrote:Me too. I see 16. This is what I use to search "x-o manowar (brushed, metal) -iron -ironman". You still have to manually filter out a few auctions using keyword spamming.Sunlight on Snow wrote:Me too. You guys forget that 500.00 American is like 7000 Canadian after shipping and exchange rates. And if I bought it for 500 American I would never ever make my money back ever. So enjoy this market guys.greg wrote:Two of them at $499 Buy It Now...apacseller wrote:One for $500 Buy It Now (don't expect it to last long). Huh - that's not an actual comic store in town as far as I know, I've never heard of it. Why would someone bid $640 when there's still one at $499. Odd, yes?mkb28 wrote:First auction ended at $645.11 shipped.

And one would think with that auction ended, those would be snapped up asap.

I fine it odd also, when you have BINs at $499 with $25 shipping and a $550 with $10.05 shipping still sitting there.jmatt wrote:Why would someone bid $640 when there's still one at $499. Odd, yes?mkb28 wrote:First auction ended at $645.11 shipped.

It's crazy when people bid without looking at what's out there in BIN. Of course this never happens to me when I live auction an item
, but good for that guy.

I wonder how many of these will be sent out to CGC - (or cbcs / pgx). Hoping to get a 9.8 or even better who will be the first 9.9 or even GEM 10.0 ???
What happens to the price of these as the initial flood of these are sold?
Does price go up with slabbed versions vs. Raw?

Re: X-O 1 1:500 Print Run Speculation
This is from a shop I visit once in a blue moon. I went yesterday to get a few copies of their exclusive X-O cover, and they said that the metal cover was up for auction. I put it on watch out of curiosity, and it hit $540. I couldn't believe it as at least one was available at a buy it now at $500.jmatt wrote:Why would someone bid $640 when there's still one at $499. If I did buy one by eBay, this would have been the one as I could pick it up rather than risk the vagaries of the post office (again).
