Valiant No Longer Releasing New Deluxe Editions Digitally?

Post by ConnormonCat »

So upon checking Comixology and Kindle for the Ivar, Ninjak and Bloodshot Reborn deluxe editions (probably others not there too), I found Valiant hasn't released any of them digitally despite being out for a while physically.
Any word from Valiant as to why they're not releasing new Deluxe Editions digitally or whether they still have plans to release them?

Also will remove after a bit or if the question is answered. (Or if there is another board this can go on, I'll chuck it there).

(Posted on Reddit as well but no one responded, fact is there might just not be an answer to this question :? )

I had the 1,000,000th post on this board and all I got was this lousy custom ranking.

I don't know the answer to your question, but (and I ask this simply out of curiosity) what's attractive about a digital deluxe version? Is it just to be able to get the sketch drawings and other such extras?

If no one has an answer, I would try sending a Tweet to @dinesh_s and/or @valiantcomics - they are usually pretty responsive to questions.
Black Science. Lazarus. Birthright. Saga. Manifest Destiny. Deadly Class.

I usually just get them digitally also for like trips and stuff so I can store them on my tablet, but in doing so the digital deluxe editions are cheaper than buying volume by volume. :)

A set of digital trades and, later on, the digital bundles are cheaper anyway.

The print edition of BS Reborn Dlx Ed 1 is $39.99.

The first three digital trades are $31.97 in total.

...

I'd rather know the status of the print Deluxe Editions. Faith was postponed and it looks like the 4001 A.D. edition will not be released this week either. Valiant says they never have missed a deadline in the last five years but their Deluxe Editions get pushed back all the time.
