HUMBLE BUNDLE IS BACK AND BETTER THAN THE LAST TIME!

Post by brucehartshorn »

Today it was announced that VEI and Humble Bundle have teamed up again to bring a tremendous value digital package to comic book fans, while helping a very worthy cause. :high-five:
Just wanted to put everyone on alert to this to make it easy for you to avail yourself of this tremendous opportunity, while helping a great charity at the same time.

Link is: https://www.humblebundle.com/books/vali ... ook-bundle" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This Humble Bundle promo was one of VEI's best supported promos in the past and the value they are offering this time is even better than before. If you like binge reading your favorite Valiant books, then you need to check this out :thumb:

Help show your support of that that VEI does for us and do what you can to help with this effort. I know it's a promo that's near and dear to their hearts :headbang:

PLUS, if this is like the last time, the more bundles they sell, they continue to add books and you get them in your bundle as they're added :o

Also, at the $25 level you get an exclusive physical copy of an X-O Manowar variant, signed by Lewis Larosa.
Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

Worldwide shipping is included in that $25, which is always a nice thing to see :)

And I don't know if anyone needs more merchandise, but just signing up for the newsletter on humble bundle gets you 20% off at the Valiant store.

The code is probably the same for everyone (ValiantHumbleBundle), but why not sign up and show the support?

I used the discount to pick up a cool Lemire Harby cover t-shirt that currently on sale for $12.50. If you get your cart to $50 (before the discount), you can can get free shipping, which I successfully did with a combination of discounted shirts and a button.

This is great. I've been holding out for a few items, and this is a great opportunity to get some swag.

I went a little crazy with the Valiant Store discount. It's too good not to use. With the sale items, shirts are $10. There is an nice embroidered cap for $10, and the enormous standees are $20. Free shipping if you order enough. Filled in a few holes with the available pins as well.

Or if you've been holding out for those Valiant short boxes - less than $10.

Just checked back and found the last time that VEI and Humble Bundle teamed up in Oct. of 2014, they sold over 14,000 bundles. :o

In less than a day, this new promo has gone past 1,200 bundles purchased so here's hoping that this promo is an even bigger success for VEI.

AND, the fans win big too by participating.
1) Great reads at a fantastic price
2) 20% off Valiant Store purchases
3) A signed exclusive by Lewis LaRosa if you purchase at the $25.00 level
4) Even more books added to your bundle 6 days from now if you purchase at the $8.00 level

This is absolutely a promo which EVERYONE wins and deserves support :high-five:

Going to try the free book and find out :thumb: No need to respond to below, realised I can experiment and see before I commit

hey guys, question to you that use Humble bundle.

Is it sent as an email attachment ~ the PDF?
Can I download and store on my computer / hard drive/ writable CD/DVD.? or is it like 'steam'.
If you lose the data, can you request it again ~ download for free, as you have already paid.

Tried reading website, but just going in circles, not finding information I want. Support information didn't answer questions.

Steam said that I download the game, but not that I had to download everytime I use it!. For those that don't know about 'steam' I didn't either. I brought some software and got a code. THe software is stored by 'steam' and you log on to access it, even though it is yours.

Is it like steam? HAve to have access to internet while reading /using?

Just wondering, last time I read a comic on my computer, I gave up and printed it out  .
Maybe transitioning to Digital comics to save space!
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Is it me or did I miss out on the Volume 3 downloads? I was in the first bundle, and I'm downloading the 2nd bundle, but seem to be missing the Volume 3s!

You can download the comics, and download them again later. If you log in to Humble Bundle everything you've purchased should be there available to you at anytime.

Bought! And thanks for posting guys. This is my first foray into Humble Bundle and in good timing as I'm on vacation end of Feb and some digital comics will be great. Dumb question for the experts - where the heck do you give HB your address for the signed book?

(And 20% off at Valiant store...oh yes...I need 2 or 3 new t-shirts!)

At the bottom of the Humble Bundle page, there's a place to put in your email and that will lead you to another page for you to give your physical address for the signed book. Thanks for participating in this promo and helping both Valiant AND a worthy cause :thumb:
