New eBay find for me. Bad corner ding due to seller shipping it from Australia in a plastic bag (yes plastic bag). Cool item nonetheless and the price was right. I never knew this existed.
The R2D2-esque robot is hilarious.

Pity about the ding, still very cool!

Nice! Is the John Wayne-looking longhair a comic version of Brak the Barbarian or Kothar, Barbarian Swordsman? Or maybe an iteration of Mighty Samson?

Thanks, JD. Do you know who published that character in the US? I can't pull up anything on Google searches for "Dakar barbarian comic" or "Dakar gold key", etc.

Gold Key/Whitman had a "pseudo" shared universe consisting of Magnus, Solar, Turok, Dr Spektor (the inspiration for Dr Mirage), Dagar, Tragg, Mighty Samson, The Owl and a few others. Lots of hidden jems in the form of Digest stories and cool crossovers in the '70s

Pretty darn cool. Solar with his dukes up is kinda funny.
