After the first Harbinger War
After the first Harbinger War, I sent my agents to Las Vegas to scour the city for mementos. My best man, digging deep into the rubble of a casino pulled this out. While it isn't my most valuable piece by far (the physical body relics and HARD Corps tech, to start), it is one of the most beautiful. I had it polished and placed in my vault. Thieves have tried to break in, but my vault is secure from even terrestrial threats. Thankfully, nobody know about this piece. Emblems seem to be the most coveted. My fellow collector Jesse Izdepski can attest to that after he was hogtied for 8 days just so a collector could steal his HARD Corps patch.

Re: After the first Harbinger War
Indeed. This piece is awesome. The best custom piece I've ever owned. He did a great job on it. It got lost in the mail for some time. Not sure why. It was properly addressed. This thing went around the world a few times, literally. I ordered the display off Amazon. It fits wonky, so the seller gave it to me for free. Nice! But still wonky.grendeljd wrote:![]()

Re: After the first Harbinger War
This piece was custom made at the Gold Souk in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
I messaged Dinesh for the logo, and he asked VEI Managing Editor Robert Meyers to send me a high res logo pic.
From there, I worked with a goldsmith to actually create it. In the U.S. armed forces, there are a number of badges, emblems, and designations that Service members wear on their uniforms while serving as part of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and/or Secritary of Defense where the color contrast of both silver and gold has historically been used to great effect.
Using that same concept, I asked the goldsmith if he could create a brushed silver emblem, and then coat both the bird and circle with 18k gold.
I would have perfered to use 24k solid gold, however, as the primary goal was to create a functional and visually accurate costume piece (without paying a few thousand dollars lol) I felt that this approach was the best approach both financially and functionally.

I presently have the original which is part of my Harbinger a Foundation costumes, Steve has the one listed in this thread, and Chainball received the last of what was made.
