hmmm ... interesting. So the 4 issue arc starts with issue #23 ... and so the arc would end with issue #26

Kind of unusual they would do that .. maybe they want the extra numbers for the anniversary issue and hope that that will spill over to issue #26 to see how the story concludes.

i would think the series would end at #26 .. but maybe they will try to keep it going.

VH1 Ninjak ends at 26. It was in the middle of an arc as I recall?

With the Ninjak focused web series coming up, maybe they are hoping it will bump the numbers?

Kind of think it will. The FB account has seen an increase of people joining in, but maybe that's typical NYCC type stuff. We will see in October's and November's sales discussion. We might also see a bump in TPB purchases, that might be the best way to track

Shadowman defeats him by conjuring up a torrent of woodpeckers.

Just a guess obviously, but I'd say this 'new look' for Darque is just a temporary thing: Roku's only just cut him out of the tree, so I think it's just a matter of time before he transitions back to a fully humanoid state - the 'half tree' thing is temporary :thumb:

On another note, Ninjak going over #25... With the webseries I'm banking on VEI relying on that to keep the comic's numbers up, so I wonder if they're pushing to match the XO run with this title
:hm:
