We need another Quantum & Woody appearance
I miss them.
Weren't they in L.A. in their last appearance? They could guest in Faith... It's been pretty light-hearted so far, I think they'd fit.
Anyone with me?

I would LOVE a Q&W appearance in Faith.
I know some don't like them, but I love them.

I want another Q&W mini that follows where they were last in their story. And yeah a cameo here and there would be awesome too.

Re: We need another Quantum & Woody appearance
I spoke with James Asmus at Rose City Comic Con. He suggested that more Quantum & Woody would probably be announced before too long. He said when Valiant was ready to do more he wasn't, and when he was Valiant already had their publishing plan scheduled for a while.

Quantum & Woody - never read the original, but the VEI series was my FAVOURITE book that they published.

Thinking an appearance or an arc with Quantum and Woody would be fantastic!

I could pass on more Q&W. I'll take more new characters like those were going to be seeing in the coming months.

To each their own, but I could live without more Q&W. Not as bad as the worst of the Shadowman or Eternal Warrior first series but not great. Except for the art in that second story arc. That was atrocious! Never forgive VEI for actually publishing the potato car and the floating airplane artwork.

Re: We need another Quantum & Woody appearance
I want more! After recently rereading it I can say that I have no idea why it fell to the bottom of my "quality Valiant books" list. It's really solid. Great characterization and character growth. Relatable characters. A fantastic sense of humor. What more do you want? If anything, it would make a good replacement for the pile of
that is A&A.

While the art in Vol. 2 definitely wasn't great, I actually kind of dug it. I think it had a pretty good sense of humor, and in any case, it was way better than the art in issues 11 and 12.Phoenix8008 wrote:To each their own, but I could live without more Q&W. Re: We need another Quantum & Woody appearance
I'm okay without ever seeing more Q&W.
I thought the first arc had the best writing for the characters, but with a few exceptions here & there after that, it steadily just became much too zany for the sake of being zany with little substance. I think I have a pretty broad & open-minded sense of humour in general, but the style of humour in this book was not often to my taste.

I really like Q&W and would def pick it up should more come out. I think the Valiant Sized issue and Q&W Must Die mini were really good, plus I dug the 12 issue run and even Goat #0.
I hope this happens.

Re: We need another Quantum & Woody appearance
I enjoy the less serious vibe that Q+W provide, makes a nice break from the heaviness of say Imperium, Bloodshot or Divinity when I'm sitting and reading a few comics at once. The comic obviously isn't to everyone's taste but I like it so I'd be happy to hear (as and when) of a new Q+W series

YES!
It's frustrating how Valiant characters completely disappear in between series. It would be nice if they could just check in with every character once a year. Part of the appeal of other companies having events is that you get to see characters in the universe who don't have their own titles, but that's been missing in the last couple of Valiant events.

Re: We need another Quantum & Woody appearance
Maybe every year VEI could publish a one-shot bumper-sized comic that contains 4-5 page long stories for each character that didn't appear that year, that'd be funmateo107 wrote:YES!

Who'd we have this year so far then?
Shadowman
Quantum and Woody
Hm, I just checked a list and those are basically the only two main titles that haven't appeared this year yet. Could maybe chuck the HARD Corps in there to bulk out the numbers?!

Maybe every six months would be better, that'd bulk out the issue a bit better (although this is just from memory and is probably wrong in some cases):
Shadowman
Quantum and Woody
HARD Corps
Dr. Mirage
Ivar, Timewalker

Re: We need another Quantum & Woody appearance
I remember reading somewhere that Unity was to be a platform to keep characters in rotation who didn't have their own title but obviously that concept never eventuated.Shadowman99 wrote:Maybe every year VEI could publish a one-shot bumper-sized comic that contains 4-5 page long stories for each character that didn't appear that year, that'd be funmateo107 wrote:YES!

Hopefully he'll skip us all ahead to 2017 so the new title is about to hit the shelf and we won't have to wait six months to read XO again!Thegreatmagnet wrote:I bet they show up in XO #50...I know a Timewalker will be in that issue.
