Head's Up: Barnes & Noble
Not sure if this is something you have to have a B&N account for or not, but just thought I'd give a head's up that B&N sent out a 40% off any one item coupon via email (I almost missed it since it was in the spam folder). Great opportunity if anyone's looking for a hardcover -- especially one of the classic omnibus collections.

Is it a code that one can enter and if so, can you share it with us?Zhuge1 wrote:Not sure if this is something you have to have a B&N account for or not, but just thought I'd give a head's up that B&N sent out a 40% off any one item coupon via email (I almost missed it since it was in the spam folder). Thanks for the info!

I saw somewhere else that the code is LMQCJGX26KQFK, and if you go through raise.com you can save even more. You can also use the code more than once, apparently.
Alone, listless, breakfast table in an otherwise empty room.

Yes, that's the code. Thanks for posting -- I wasn't sure if it was specific to an account or not, but I guess not.jeremycoe wrote:I saw somewhere else that the code is LMQCJGX26KQFK, and if you go through raise.com you can save even more. You can also use the code more than once, apparently.
For those that don't know -- Raise.com is a site where you can buy and sale gift cards. Usually you can get gift cards for a percentage off of the face value. For example, right now, you can get a $25 Barnes and Noble e-gift card for 5.8% off. So, with Jeremy's plan, you could purchase a gift card through Raise, save 5 or 6%; then use the code above after placing the item in your "bag" at B&N (which will discount the item by 40%); and pay for the order using the gift cards you got from Raise. If you take this route, just be sure that you're getting electronic gift cards from B&N and not the physical in-store only ones.
Anyways -- for the XO (or Archer & Armstrong) classic omnibus, it makes the final cost $40.02 with free shipping (actually a bit less if you buy gift cards at a discount through Raise), which is a great deal.
Note, since the code can be used multiple times, be sure to place the orders separately if you want to grab both.

Yup, I picked that up as well. I had just bought the X-O omnibus a couple of weeks ago. I wish I had waited nowbattlepark wrote:Thank you for the heads up, just got the Archer and Armstrong omnibus for $40.35 and free shipping

Unfortunately, they don't have the Quantum and Woody Omnibus (but neither does Amazon, so it may be out of print). I was able to get one from a third party seller on Amazon for a reasonable price a couple of months back.
Re: Head's Up: Barnes & Noble
Just a last reminder on this since today is the last day for this deal.
I also grabbed a copy of Valiant Masters: H.A.R.D. Corps (which is regularly $40 on either Amazon or B&N).

Picked up 5 deluxe hardcovers and some of the trades of the miniseries (Divinity, The Valiant, Eternal Warrior: Days of Steel, etc.). Just had to make five separate orders and try to combine them to get over 25 dollars to get free shipping, haha.

I also grabbed a second copy of Divinity to make one of my orders hit the $25 mark. I plan to give it to a friend who doesn't read Valiant.
