Most'll be less and a few will be more but this is the grease we need to keep the big wheels spinning.
I would like to pay Bob Hall the $400 I owe him so he is taken care of. And finance the more/less stamp costs to get these to you.
I'd like to get the money soon as I already possess the art.
You guys gotta trust me- I am a fan since 1991... how could I do you wrong???
We'll all be LOL when this is done.

Paypal payment sent. Thanks! Dan

Re: Is Anyone Interested In Being Part Of A Bob Hall Commiss
Bob really came through on this one. He did bashfully admit he spent 5 minutes each piece... then went back and spent 5 more to make them look good. This was in response to me telling him "if you can do that in five minutes then you should be a millionaire!"
I am a day or two away from the piece selection by you guys, but I am making a Certificate of Authenticity that I have to job out if you guys want a professional-looking job... that's where the extra $5.00 is going and it'll be a beauty.
I can't wait for you guys to get the pieces!

Bob is doing a Master Darque color piece for the series. 1/2 body image.
First one to claim it wins. It's a $100 piece.

I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

Phantom- you do realize that in the USA there's no such thing as "vacation"... most employers give you one week whereas you get 6-7 weeks off work as part of your government...

Re: Is Anyone Interested In Being Part Of A Bob Hall Commiss
Bob Hall is working on the last piece- a good color piece of Master Darque. DHudson bought it and he is our winner from this deal- buying 2 colors and 1 B&W.
I should have the piece next week then it's off to make a COA. I think I'll be mailing these pieces out in a couple of weeks so everyone be patient. I already finished The Jim Shooter Project and I am working on this and possibly a Sal Velluto series as well.

Re: Is Anyone Interested In Being Part Of A Bob Hall Commiss
I ve done my years of 12 hour shifts for one month blocks.
We do have it easier than you guys for treatment in the workplace.
But when I started my own business it was 14 /16 hours days for years on end.
But I do feel your pain. Uk has it easier, its a good balance for business and workers.
France has it easier, but I think business is affected. USA is in more support of Business than workers (from what I hear).
Good to hear from you
Hope for a long USA trip one day. Next year may attempt NYCC but finding tickets is hardest part.

Mike Carbo runs the Big Apple Con, which is very different from New York Comic Con.Knob Row wrote:NYCC- New York Comic Con??? Mike Carbo's deal? I can easily get you probably free tickets if you need.

Very kind of you
I have taken a lot of holiday without my wife this year. And still have another holiday planned. Next year we we holiday together, but I can still sneak away for a week to USA.
Was going to take everyone and do a road trip.
Off topic anyway. Above post was supposed to be a pm. Not great at using phone to write.
Eg this was going to be a new thread. Fat fingers

Re: Is Anyone Interested In Being Part Of A Bob Hall Commiss
Michael Moore "Where To Invade Next" nicely sums up the difference between a NAFTA worker and a Euro worker. PS- the Euros do it better WITH their 6-7 week off a year and two-hour lunches and siestas... they're just ahead of us as far as what work should be.
I recently watched an HBO documentary on the closing of a GM plant in Michigan and one thing that sticks with me is the news was reporting that GM said "it costs $75/hr to keep an employee (when you factor in pensions, vacations, insurance etc..." They then interviewed a woman leaving the GM plant and asked her about this and she said she makes a third of that.
So my question is: where are the $25/hr jobs today???
