The books that have really has a dramatic price increase , especially moderns are books no one was talking about and then it just happened.

If the spec sites are talking about it, it is often too late. Nothing against the spec sites, I like them. But you have to be before the game.

For dudes that have the Riri books, cool and I hope u make some quid.

Could the IM book become EoSV#2? Maybe. Or maybe not.
I'm not expecting values to hold. They've seen a jump because of Marvel's announcement and they will come back to earth in the next few months. The time to sell is now. Are the Kamala Khan books still holding their value?

I guarantee you Bendis is committed to this new character. That may be a factor long term.

I poop on these. But I guess I will read the new stuff anyway. I love how Bendis describes the introduction of these new characters as organic when it is blindingly ham-handed.

A new character was introduced in Uncanny Inhumans #11, pulling $10-15 on the bay, maybe once word of mouth gets around about the book.

Yeah. Definitely not organic.
That is a major weakness with Bendis and can turnoff a lot of people, this reminds me when he introduced Jessica Jones and how he tried to shoved her so hard into the backstories of Spider-Man and The Avengers that made him look like his new character was a major part of the Marvel Universe, that IMHO he actually makes her look like a major Mary Sue type character and that if the character wasn't picked up for the Netflix series she would probably still be a background character at best.

The Jessica Jones/Spider-Man stuff is when he revealed that Jones and Parker were in the high school together and she had a huge crush on Parker but he ignored her now that is not too bad since that could have happened but The Avengers stuff was so convoluted and really under-cuts her as a character.

Nobody talking about Vision 1? :? A couple first app. and Viv being on Defenders, as well as the series being critically liked. I personally am not holding my breath on Riri. Mosaic may be a different story, I think mid level. I think Sam (Nova) is set to go big. Just saying.

DC side...watch the 1st app. of the last 20 years (vague I know..lol) I think we are going to start seeing some big jumps.

Out of all the new "spec" books, Vision #1 seems to me to be the best chance at "something".

Will be interesting what the hot books coming out of SDCC this weekend are. Rick Remender has dropped teases that he has some announcements to make and has all but said on Twitter that a Black Science and/or Deadly Class series is being worked on.
Black Science. Lazarus. Birthright. Saga. Manifest Destiny. Deadly Class.

It looks like one of those Spawn 20th Anniversary parody sketch variants is really taking off...

Saw a 9.8 copy of Deadly Class #1 on eBay for $65 this morning. Now it's updated and asking $275.

I found a NM copy with an online shop for $65 shipped. After I paid they refunded my money three days later saying they couldn't find the book in their inventory. They said they'd check back again when they return from SDCC and offer to resell to me for 15% off what I paid. I hope they didn't just refund the money to me so they can sell it for more to somebody else.

If you really want a cheaper copy there is one in VF/NM condition on Atomic Avenue for $49.99 with apparently free shipping.
