Whats the story with this?

Re: The Valiant Chromium
It was recently produced in Canada (sort of like Wolverine...) and I believe was created with numbers indicating a 1:400 variant comparison.Aport wrote:Whats the story with this?

If only I spoke French I'd try to find one of these on the website! Are they still available?

I assume all prices are denominated in Canadian dollars -
There are two Chromium covers. I think the one DBS showed here is sold out, originally for 29.99$ and limited to a run of 25. There is also a Franco Francavilla for $19.99.
You can roll the dice on what Couverture Chromium is?

Re: The Valiant Chromium
I have to admit these guys are putting out some really cool covers. I have purchased several and will buy more in the future because they are different from the English version. I LOVE what they did for Ninjak 1.

Timmies isn't Canadian anymore. It's now branded as Canadian to sell to Canadians only.jeremycoe wrote:When I get a Tim Horton's within driving distance from my house I'll be happy to support Canadiansnonplayer wrote:Yes you Americans buy Canadian support our country for a change![]()
This is unfortunate but true. We have very little you guys haven't bought or monopolised.
I think Canadian tire is one of the last chains not bought out and is truly Canadian.

I just ordered one of those sweet FantastiCon editions. Wish I had paid more attention to French in high school, but the class was packed with over half of the freshman cheerleader team.

Re: The Valiant Chromium
So tempted, just for the novelty of it. But what economic sense could it make to just print only 25? Seems odd.JCP wrote:Awesome! Just picked up the Francavilla chromium!

Yeah, saw these a couple times before, but forgot about them. Thought I saw in English somewhere as well, but can't find it now. I just went ahead and ordered what seems to be the Francavilla chromium. Should be interesting.

Re: The Valiant Chromium
Also can't buy any decent flyfishing stuff. The closes usa store would be a Walmart but Canadian tire is more like the tool/automotive section. With any deals they can broker. So coolers for 15.00 or gardening stuff. Always sells cheep Canadian made snow shovels. And automatic igloo makers for when company arrives. That reminds me I should check out smoker prices.jeremycoe wrote:Well then I'll pretend to support Canadians when there's a Tim Horton's near me.nonplayer wrote:Timmies isn't Canadian anymore. I think Canadian tire is one of the last chains not bought out and is truly Canadian.Canadian Tire is a weird store. I don't know what the closest US comparison would be, but I think my wife liked the one we visited. The only thing you can't buy there is probably a The Valiant Chromium.

I never ended up receiving my book from Editions Heroes and wrote this off. Did anybody ever get their copy? Anybody willing to part with their copy? Such a cool book, but sadly never made it my way.
