Tomorrow will be an incredible day!!! JJ already told me I am in the inner circle, being a vocal VALIANT fan for so long and doing random stuff like this.

But I have all of you to thank because without you- and Greg's site- I would have no forum to get stuff like this done, recorded and entered into the books. So THANK YOU ALL!!!

Back home from Shooter. The interview is about 2 1/2 hours long and JMatt has all the data... he should be home a couple of hours from now.

John was unbagging and forming a pil of books to be signed. Jim took them one at a time and signed them, then handed to me so I could properly stack them so the ink would dry. And wouldn't you know it- I thumbed a freshly signed copy of Unity #1 Platinum!!! D'oh!

My advice for John was to get home and throw that book out without thinking twice. Sorry John!

Oh, goodness. No worries. Luckily I brought more than one Unity plat for him to sign. :D

Lemme tell you guys, Joe is so thoughtful and generous. When I got to his place this morning he pulled out box after box of comics and insisted I take whatever struck my fancy. That EW #4 I stole from you more than makes up for it. :P

Over 20 years in the making, I finally have Jim's signature right across the top of my Valiant gem.

Unfortunately, my camera won't recognize Joe's SDxc memory card so I can't post his pics tonight. But I'll remedy that tomorrow.

Fantastic.
Looking forward to the interview.
Afterwards I am glad you all sat down and relaxed
I wish their was a Spinal Tap comic, and I had a copy CGC graded at 11.

There is a problem with the bookmarks... the bookmarks are cool but the front of them has a high gloss that won't take a signature... the ink beads up and takes 20 minutes to dry and looks like crap.

The only option I can think of is if Shooter signed the backs of the bookmarks. Now that's not what I had in mind, it is the only solution I can think of.

What do you guys think?

ALSO- I have a few VALIANTS Shooter signed for me and two copies of the A&O soft TPB. Does anyone here not have a Shooter auto book?

Shooter mentioned he drew the ad art for Harbinger #1, not the cover. I know it exists, I sold one a couple of years ago. Does anyone have the image to show Jim?

RE: BOOKMARKS

I have decided to add a fourth bookmark- X-O #1- to the set of now 4 auto bookmarks. Everyone's allocation will go down 25% or so to accommodate all the requests for them.

Once again it's signed on the blank back but it's a real #ed auto and comes in 90-ish sets.

I hope you guys can accept this... I have no other choice.

Is this OK with you guys???

The revised allocation will look something like this:

20 JMATT
3 Doodlebird
5 Ducky 13
1 NYCJadie
1 Magnus 9178
8 SonicDan
2 NSCC
4 Greg Holland
6 Magnus (share with Phantom)
10 Jaden_Sai
5 Iggy
12 Bobby
8 Aram

TOTAL: 85 sets

Can we all live with this???

Scott- auto photo out to you!
Sonic- Rai #0 out to you

We're going to have to wait a week or two for the set of four Shooter bookmarks to be sent out, already provided a list of who gets what.

Bookmarks signed on the backs are a go.

GUYS!!!

We did an incredible thing for Jim!

I sent the other thread to Jim to see the development of this thought from a vague idea to a solid plan and it's art.

OUR 50th plaque will most likely be the only one he gets and it will sit in his house as a reminder. From the VALIANT fans: all you guys!!!

I must once again applaud all of you for making this impossible thing happen!

Joe

Uploading the plaque award to my OneDrive now. I'll link to it once it's done, but it's gonna be an hour or so. The other segments are much larger, that's gonna take all weekend.

Huh. Well, she is green...

Shatner. I'll take it. But unlike Bill, I still have my hair so I have that going for me too.
