The Valiant is what pulled me back in. I thought it was great. The best though? Toss up between Harbinger 1-25 and a&a 1-25. Both are equally great in separate ways.

Not a bad list, but I don't know if I would have left out Harbinger Wars or Shadowman #0 or #10.

I'm not sure I'd rank AH where it is. Love the story though.
I'd remove Q&W.

Makes sense if they are just trying to sell complete trades. Shadowman #0 & #10 are still the best single issues Valiant has published in my opinion, but you can hardly make an argument for Shadowman Vol. 3 TPB with those filler issues in there.

No Dr. Mirage? Can't get on board with that omission. For me, Divinity, Mirage, Wrath, Armor Hunters and Harbinger Wars are #1 - 5 in descending order.

Re: The 10 Best Stories of the Modern Valiant Comics Era
That definitely would not be my top 10 but I respect and enjoyed reading that list
My Top 10 List off the top of my head
10) Rai: Rise of New Japan
9) X-O: By the Sword
8) Harbinger Wars
7) Harbinger: Death of a Renegade
6) Armor Hunters
5) A&A: Far, Far Away
4) Imperium: Collecting Monsters
3) Ivar #1-12
2) Harbinger: Renegades
1) Shadowman #0/#10
Leaving off a lot of good stories by the way .. Its hard to narrow down to top 10

Ummm... Where is Ivar and Imperium...
Just goes to show they don't READ all those books.
Not knocking anything else... Most is awesome! But those two are awesomer! (Yes I just created that word)

Eh, it's respectable, (Divinity is BOSS!!) but clearly missing (Shadowman #0 & #10, Ivar #1-12, Imperium's first arc) a few books that are definitely, top ten worthy.

Re: The 10 Best Stories of the Modern Valiant Comics Era
The Valiant at #1?
Wasn't that good.
Seems to me like this guy's mostly gone for the arcs that most strongly establish the most significant and visually interesting aspects of the Valiant universe, which I guess is one way of looking at things.
Probably wouldn't have included the final Harbinger arc myself, but then again it's been so long I can't really remember what happened in that arc any more.
As for him leaving out Ivar and Imperium because he's obviously not read those books... Well, Ivar's far from my favourite Valiant read every month so I guess it's a matter of opinion.
Omissions... I thought the first Dr. Mirage mini was pretty good, but some have pointed out they felt it was confusing so perhaps that's why it didn't make the list, among other reasons. First Bloodshot arc was pretty wicked. I liked it more than BS:R first arc, but that's subjective. It's all subjective, so hey. Mind's gone blank now.
