They said next to nothing at the panel about this. They did say, however, that Harbinger could be considering a first act, and Imperium a second act, in the larger story of Harada. Whatever is coming will be the third act.

A livewire book? So that means livewire going to get the xo armor. I can live with that. Maybe it will be called livewire Reborn.

I'm thinking a Livewire mini but would LOVE another Harby Wars book.

Wont happen but a HARBINGER 1969 12 issue maxi series would be all kinds of awesome.

Whoa whoa whoa: in the 'Might be Out on Valiant' thread we're all saying how fragmented the universe is currently: now we want 12 issues of a book set in 1969? :? (The 1969 segments of HW were way cool though, so I get it :thumb: )

Glad to hear there's more from Dysart and Harada coming in the near-ish future, what/whenever that may be.

I know people would be bummed but if it were a book about Harada and his pals from the 60's, I would dig the hell out of it. I think the looks into Harada's past that we got in Harby Wars and a few times in Imperium are so cool.

Maybe the next arc will be focused more on Peter in the same way that Imperium focused on Harada.

I've often wondered exactly what a Pete-centric book would actually involve since Harbinger ended.

Far as I can tell he's simply disappeared off the radar for the time being and nobody else in the universe is really bothered about tracking him down, so what is there to write about?

Maybe it could be some sort of story about how he gets his *SQUEE* in gear and actually matures into some sort of adult mindset and loses the post-pubescent moodswings as he learns to hone his powers a bit better or something. Maybe he takes some sort of spiritual journey to achieve clarity of mind and better mastery of his powers or something, possibly with guidance from some other powerful person... Dunno, just shooting in the dark here really.

Either way, as it stands I'm not really all that bothered about seeing Pete or the Renegades again because personally Harbinger's always been the least entertaining book for me in the VEI stable, but I know loads of people will think I'm mental for saying that... I think it's just the Renegades that I don't find that interesting: Harada's waaaaaaaay more interesting, which is why I'm loving Imperium

What if the next chapter is Psi Lords? With flashbacks to how their society developed? It could tie in nicely to both Harbinger, Imperium and 4001 AD.

I like that idea.

I was leaning towards just a re-focus on Pete and the Renegades ... but you're idea fills all the boxes. Its a contuation of the story but with a different spin. It gives us another 4001 title ... and the more scifi/futurist storytelling would give Dysart more ideas to have fun with...

The way I feel it is that Harada is by far the last/best supervillain ever created. I also feel that the victim of the first arc was a waste. Imperium is one of the best series of the last ten years and I wonder if it will not collapse into either Book of War or Stalinverse before a new Harbinger (Foundation/Nation, another Harada vessel) series is released. Retro stuff would feel better on the titles proper, although less than was done in Unity.
I like where the other Renegades are now and wait for at least a mini with Archer and them to be published: the Beast Brigade and Generation Zero, to name just a pair of concepts, could be easily involved in this.
Regarding Peter: A solo mini would be nice. Maybe a space foray that seeds the Psi-Lords in the 42nd century?

Whatever happens beyond Imperium, I am still seriously wishing we could get a Harbinger:Gen Zero series. There are so many good new characters in that pool, and because of their origin/background, I think they have even more potential than the original Harbinger renegades.

Having said all that, I would still like to read a new series with Pete, Kris, Faith & Torque again too.

Yes, Generation Zero should return. I hope they will eventually use all their VH1 and Acclaim trademarks.

Wasn't there a teaser for a new Harbinger title in last years FCBD book that showed all four of them? Has anything been announced about that yet? Maybe that could be what Dysart has planned?

Yeah, I think there was... can't recall specifically what that tease was indicating though.

Yes, it was in the 2015 FCBD along with the A&A tease, and it was very vague. Just the 4 kids and the Harbinger logo. No details.
