Re: June 2016 Solicitations
Sad to see no Imperium, but that probably is due to the fact that sales have been so poor. They can only keep it going so long if the sales aren't there.

Re: June 2016 Solicitations
A few observations:
1. Agreed! No Imperium?!
2. I love that Bloodshot Reborn mustard yellow variant with dueling guns. I know there has been a lot of discussion about variants on the board, but it's art and some are better than others. This one just looks pretty cool.
3. There is another linewide variant. Any details about the ratio?
4. The 6.0 Bloodshot Reborn CGC is hilarious! All of these CGC variants have been fun. VEI hit a home run with these different covers and they're fun to put all together as a set.
5. There is a goofy-looking, cartoonish Divinity variant. I hope it isn't the high-ratio book. It looks pretty hideous.

I'm excited to see the Ivar deluxe edition. I also really like the Kano cover for Bloodshot Reborn.

Sad to see Imperium go. Hopefully we will get more Harbinger soon, though.

Damn, I didn't even notice, until I went to list what I'd be picking up. Imperium would of made it a 10 (total) issue month...

4001 A.D. #2 (of 4)
4001 A.D.: BLOODSHOT #1
BLOODSHOT REBORN #14 (NEW ARC! “BLOODSHOT ISLAND” – PART 1)
DIVINITY II #3 (of 4)
NINJAK #16
RAI #14 (4001 A.D.)
WRATH OF THE ETERNAL WARRIOR #8
X-O MANOWAR #47 (NEW ARC! “LONG LIVE THE KING” - PART 1)

Re: June 2016 Solicitations
This community can be so paranoid sometimes. I wouldn't jump the gun proclaiming that Imperium is dead. It's most likely just not releasing in June due to the fact that issue 16 is coming out the last week of May. It's far more reasonable to expect a 5 week break in the book than VEI's first ever sneak cancellation. I'm fairly certain that when the book is set to end, we will see a note about it in the solicitation.

Fair enough, but let's not forget Eternal Warrior ending...excuse me, "going on hiatus"...abruptly. I'm sure someone will ask Dino about it on twitter or facebook and he will let us know for sure.wwise03 wrote:This community can be so paranoid sometimes. Speaking of May and June solicitations, I don't think he's offering it, but I wish Ed was offering sets of the 4001 AD one-shot books.

Wow, 4001 Bloodshot looks so much better here than in the design sheet, it's shocking! Suddenly love it!Lady Oiorpata wrote:Everytime i see one of these threads:
Also, hopefully Imperium will be back promptly. It would suck if it was more than that.

Re: June 2016 Solicitations
The solicit for May's issue (in spoilers for the purists)
Toyo Harada has gone to war to save his vision of world peace from the twin threats of his former protégé Livewire and Major Charlie Palmer’s H.A.R.D. Corps! Amid the chaos, the tables have turned…and now, members of Harada’s own team are angling to knife each other in the back! When the villains trying to save humanity fi ght their noblest instincts and the heroes who are trying to stop them struggle against their own demons…can anybody win?
And, now, even as the walls of Harada’s IMPERIUM begin to the fall, the seeds of his
biggest strike yet are already being sown...
Doesn't sound like an ending to me... sounds like setup for a new arc.

Re: June 2016 Solicitations
I actually wouldn't mind a surprise. I sometimes wish I had the power to avoid looking at solicitations just so I could be surprised. Wouldn't it be more fun to not know what the next arc of Bloodshot was going to bring until you got the actual issue? Of course I am sure I will continue scouring comic book websites for solicitations every month haha.kjjohanson wrote:Unless there's some sort of surprise in the last issue.wwise03 wrote:This community can be so paranoid sometimes. It's convention season tho, I'll see if I can get anymore info @ Sccomicon next weekend. But truth is, will know, when they want us to know, hopefully sooner, than later.

Don't want to double post but I just realized that Rai's look changed permanently. I was originally thinking that the red arm/side look was just a wound that would be healed eventually. It seems though in an effort to have Rai not look like Bloodshot 4001 basically they moved his red circle to the side and expanded it. I fell so dumb for just now noticing.
