Justin Jordan has stayed friendly with Valiant ... and he is the creator of Luther Strode at Image so JJ and that character might be part of a crossover if it were to happen...

You really gotta admire the balls of this. Deathmate doesn't carry a happy memory for Valiant so to go for it on any level be it cross over or just a reuse of the name thats some balls.

Five Ghosts is another Image Title that might fit into the VEI universe as a crossover -- fits nicely in the Dr. Mirage/Shadowman corner of the universe

Lemire has also done some work with Image I believe (Descender?).

So this might be an attempt to give some lesser known Image titles some exposure ... while giving the fans of those Image titles some exposure to Valiant.

Hard to see any of the mega popular Image titles being involved ... but you never know ...

Maybe Deathmate will be personified as a villain only to be defeated by the Valiant heroes.

Here's the inside scoop - written by Matt Kindt, it's about a football player named Deathma. He's a tight end. So on the roster it's written as DeathmaTE.

i also don't see Image with anything kind of crossover. But an Archer & Armstrong and Chew would be amazing.

Similar to the use of the name 'Unity' I'm sure this is nothing to do with a cross over. Smart move though by the VEI publicity crew

VEI need to nail this, The Valiant was ruined by the ridiculous appearance of virtually every character in issue #3 and the art on BOD was second rate. VEI need to make sure they put their writing and art A teams in this!!

I'm on board though!

I'm sorry ... I still blame Image for Valiant's woes which I believe stemmed from their collaboration on Deathmate.

Hopefully this is going to be a kick butt project whatever it is.

H.A.R.D. Corps and Sex Criminals sounds like a good combo. Hardcore Sex Criminals. They'd probably have a different name like HARDON Corps. "Lifeline...switch me to semen pixie." They can be the Sex Military to the Sex Police in the series.

A crossover doesn't come to mind, but valiant often surprises.

Don't think numbers matter on books in image of it is a crossover. Savage dragon has similar numbers. Spawn is higher on average, both are creator owned do why not?

I have had the good fortune to talk to them dudes on past occasions, so I might have past conversations (not about this) to draw some of my own conclusions from. I just don't see a cross-publisher event. But who knows.
