I didn't realize VEI had the rights to this. Curious what they have up their sleeve. And I hope it's something better than just finishing the terrible original. And also that Liefeld is not in any way involved.

My guess ... either a crossover with Dynamite sucks using the gold key characters

Or like Unity this will be a complete reworking of the concept where it won't remotely resemble the original. Basically using the name because its recognizable and it would get some attention.

I think there is no chance Image would be involved ... What would be the benefit for them to work with a company that has miniscule market share..

This is funny, I dug out my deathmate books to give a local guy a red last night since he doesnt have one. He said he loved it in the 90s and after I teased him for a bit said I would give him any he was missing

I just hope the books arent 3x the price of reg comics like the 90s ones and late ;) :kidaround:

Besides Spawn and Savage Dragon do Image even publish superhero comics anymore. Hope it's between Marvel, DC or Dark Horse.

I seriously doubt it's even a crossover. And if it is, I would be even more surprised if Image is involved. I think it's an event only featuring VEI characters.
