She's an amazing artist ... she does a webcomic too (idoloncomic.com). It's for mature audiences, but the art is fantastic and the story is so far is really good.geocarr wrote:I love that one!!dmezynski wrote:And a Dr. Mirage sketch from Kiki Jenkins

Re: Sketch cover gallery
Wow, every one of those Pere Perez sketch covers posted by RDNacho are amazing. Great stuff, love the Bloodshot & Divinty drawings, and the humour of the A&A, Q&W pieces.
A lot of other great sketch covers posted here lately too. I recently got my very first one thanks to Hawkeyeps, a Divinity #1 by Kindt. Will post when I get a good pic.

Re: Sketch cover gallery
Hey guys! I have been reading Valiant books for about a year and this thread inspired me to start posting. Over the last 2 months I've started a collection of Valiant sketches.
Bloodshot by David Baron

Armstrong by Andrew Robinson

And last but certainly not least, Rai by Clayton Crain

Sorry my camera more or less sucks, I've Been meaning to get a scanner but just haven't gotten around to it

That Crain Rai is awesome. I have some serious sketch cover envy with this thread. I only have a couple.

Re: Sketch cover gallery
Haha that's actually what set me off. It seems like most of these artists just put so much more care and effort into the Valiant sketches than they do Marvel or DC characters.nycjadie wrote:That Crain Rai is awesome. I have some serious sketch cover envy with this thread. I only have a couple.

All were done at Baltimore Comic Con. Dave Johnson is working a Shadowman sketch for me which I should have next week.

I'd forgotten to post this image, but I received my Dave Johnson Shadowman Sketch from BCC a few weeks ago.
I'm not a huge Shadowman fan, but I absolutely love the way Dave Johnson portrays the character. Oh and Justin Jordan signed this sketch cover back in 2013 as well

Re: Sketch cover gallery
Dave Johnson has done some of my top favourite covers for VEI to date, especially on Shadowman. That's an awesome commission!

Any Interest in the Valiant Crossover sketch covers? The Unity one? Thinking of drawing up my single copy. Should I go detailed or loose?
