Valiantdatabase.com - Notes on Missing V1 & Acclaim Books

Post by nycjadie »

I can't recall who is managing the Valiant DB. Here are my notes after using it to review my V1 collection. Hope this helps. This is getting closer to being the authoritative site for covers. I'm happy to add my comments on Acclaim and VEI once I'm done organizing my collection. If anyone sees this, can you flag to the site owner? I also plan on sponsoring in the near future.

Also, I'm still unable to access valiantdatabase.com in Firefox Web and Chrome Mobile (my 2 preferred browsers). I have to use Chrome Web to access it.

Need to add the following:
Archer & Armstrong: First Impressions
Bloodshot 0 VVSS
Bloodshot 0 VVSS Related
Bloodshot Price Variants
Eternal Warrior Yearbook 2
Harbinger TPB 2nd Print
Harbinger: The Beginning
Magnus 0 Coupon/No Coupon distinction
Magnus Invasion TPB
Magnus Steel Nation TPB
Magnus/Nexus Preview
Secrets of the Valiant Universe Wizard Edition
X-O: Birth HC
X-O Database VVSS Related

For Acclaim:

Shadowman V2 #1 Special Edition - There are 2, one is an ashcan and one is full size.
There are 2 "no price" variants for Turok Tales of the Lost Land and Empty Souls.

Reminds me, for me Chrome refuses to display valiantdatabase.com. It says the site uses hsts to require secure communication but doesn't have a valid certificate.

also, thanks for the notes! Any missing books or errors, do not hesitate to msg me here, or email admin@valiantdatabase.com . Haven't had much time to code the past few weeks, but when it comes to fixing errors, I usually correct them within a couple of hours of receiving the message. Glad you're enjoying it, tomorrow marks the site's first year anniversary!

Indeed!

Should have included the V1 Bloodshot price variants and the Acclaim Turok no price variants.
