Divinity Lot CGC 9.8 #1 1:40, raw #2 1:30, #3 4 1:20 CLOSED
Folks, I have for sale the rarest of the Divinity incentive covers. Headlining the lot is a CGC 9.8 Divinity #1 1:40 LaRosa variant, the infamous book with an estimated print run of around 350 copies. In addition, I'm also offering the 1:30 variant of issue 2 also by LaRosa, the #3 1:20 LaRosa variant which has had a delayed blow-up with the first appearance of Abram's cosmonaut companions, and the Guice 1:20 version of issue 4. Each of these issues has an incredibly low print run.
Issue #1 in 9.8 typically sells for $450-550 on ebay and even raw copies have gone over $400. I am the original owner and submitted it at SDCC. It has not been pressed.
I estimate the condition of the raw copies to be near-mint or better. All are unread, have sharp corners and all spines are crisp with no creases or ticks. The only notable flaw on issue 2 is a few small glossy spots (only 2 from what I can see) on the surface of the front cover which can only be seen when the surface is reflected in light. Issue 2 goes for over $100 typically and the cheapest offered on ebay now are pushing $200. Follow the link for the detail shots:
issue 3 has a small indent on the back cover, but otherwise is in very nice condition. Not sure how much is typically downgraded for this, but to me, it should still be in 9.4-9.6 range. #3 raw clears $200 pretty easily. Follow the link for the detail shots:
I couldn't find any noticeable flaws on issue 4, so it should be in 9.6-9.8 condition. Follow the link for the detail shots:
I'm asking $650 for the lot, which includes shipping and insurance for US buyers. Shipping to Canada will incur additional charges, but it shouldn't be anything crazy. Based on ebay sales over the last few months, this is at the absolute low end for this group. I have been buying and selling on ebay since 1998 under the user name qburt and my feedback is around 1400. I can accept payment via paypal, check or money order.
With a follow-up mini-series set for next year and Dinesh already teasing massive plans for Divinity, these books themselves could fly beyond the stratosphere. Unfortunately, I need to get some home projects going and I'll have to sell these in order to make it happen (sorry, no trades). They'll be off to ebay if I can't move them here, but I'd rather avoid the crushing fees. Feel free to PM if you have questions, I've taken high-quality pictures of the raw books from several angles which can be seen in the links posted after the main images for each book. Thanks for looking!

Re: Divinity Lot CGC 9.8 #1 1:40, raw #2 1:30, #3 4 1:20 LOW
Happy Thanksgiving
! I've dropped the price on this lot well below current market values to $650 shipped (for US addresses) for the lot! There may not be another opportunity to pick up some of the rarest Valiant books in one cheap lot again!
