Ninjak Timing?

Post by Keith »

So question I have... when is the new Ninjak series taking place? The current part of the story, I mean.

Possible answer... post-Unity/Book of Death. We learn the Ninjak goes off the grid for several months, I believe. Could the assumed dissolution of Unity grant him the freetime to go on such an undertaking? Prior to that he seems to be in the good graces of MI-6, unlike the status we see now.
Good Morning, that's a nice tnetennba.
The thing about Arsenal is they always try to walk it in...

Seems likely. Either that, or this takes place prior to the assembling of the current Unity team.

Yeah, I figured that the current volume of Ninjak takes place either post-Unity or at the same time as it ends, if it ends because the team drifts apart.

Refresh my memory: Is there any reference to his Unity teammates? I don't understand why Naville is answering to other bosses at MI6. Wasn't him made THE boss after the vine reveal?

kind-t stories never fit very well with the rest of the universe

we saw ninjak and neville meet for the first time in x-o #8 but they also meet for the first time under completely different circumstances in ninjak lost files

Oh. I can't remember if it's Ninjak or Aric that find some alien conspiracy dude and put him in charge. Retcon so soon?

Hmmm....considering Ninjak seems to be having some memory issues regarding his time with the monk, is it possible the main story takes place between the events of XO: Enter Ninjak and the launch of Unity? While the "secret files" take place prior to his XO introduction, but he is unaware of most of it (such as his meeting with Neville)?
