I'll probably stay at the Holiday Inn again... I think it was about five blocks from the con. It was a very swanky hotel.

I believe I read that midtown comics was the fifth one. Yeah. Me and kevinbastos asked Dino on twitter and he confirmed Midtown as the other store. I really like that there are only going to be five versions of these. It will make this set much easier to complete than I thought it would. :thumb:

I'm not sure where I would fall on these if they are high end statues. I like the Valiant universe, but I don't know that I like any of the characters so much that I'd feel the need to own a $300 statue of them. $15 figures? Sure. I mean I absolutely love some of the statues made for Star Wars chara...

I was trying to browse the titles, but it looks like it's very broken up in what it offers, but if they have full story arcs, it might still be worth getting just to read some of the old arcs that I missed when I was younger.

Thoughts?

I see Q&W without a doubt being one of the three. I think the other two could be a tossup from Hard Corps, EW, Ninjak, and Dr. Mirage depending on who does the best in these appearances. I'd prefer to see Rai, but I'm a little nervous on where they might take that book.

I can't see myself paying more than $25-$30 for one of these. They're cool, but they don't serve that much of a purpose after release.

The look pretty cool... I'm guessing a summer release on these, comic stores only, probably close to $20 a pop.

$14.99 for 4 issues is like saving a buck, so in that sense, it's not too much. However, if you compare other $14.99 trades to a VEI trade containing 4 issues, the other trade will likely always be a better value page-wise. Looks good! I think, personally, I'd rather see the Valiant Fans logo at the bottom, but it still looks cool!

The idea of a B&W cover sounds cool, but I also like the color version... so I could go either way on that.

I'll admit that if the price is ever right, I wouldn't mind having one of each from the different retailers. I'd love it if my retailer ordered enough to do that, but he isn't big enough to need 3000 copies of anything.
