Well, when I have books that I've only seen once as I put them into the long boxes, that means I have too many.

So, over the past year, I have given away 2 long boxes and have been preparing to give away most of the rest. I have established a goal for my collection to keep it on the "small" side ...

I picked up one of those DC black and white newsprint books reprinting the first 25 or so Unknown Soldier stories from Star Spangled War Stories. The beginnings and ending contained the morals. Good stuff.


The most real, raw, and morally accurate portrayal of war has to be from EC. Pick up a copy ...

also, since they've been doing MAJOR crossovers in the DCU, now it's time for a crossover with Marvel or Image.

Magnus #1 is my all time favorite cover of any Valiant book.

Magnus #12 is a super close second.
