I got mine from Amazon
The morning I read the announcement I ordered it from Amazon. Price shipped was $20.46 like everyone else has said.
Got an email a day later saying shipping would be delayed until 9/11 - 9/15.
Then received mine this past Tuesday (9/4).
It's cool!!
Hope everyone gets theirs soon!

Ring size
My silver X-O ring came in 10 1/2 also. And it did turn my finger green when I wore it, but I never could bring myself to put any fingernail polish on it.....
I think they were solicited as you pick the size, but can't remember for certain.

Re: Here's how it is.
Comxfan has an organization about his longboxes that puts the U.S. Library of Congress to shame. His collection also shares space with really nice carpeting and a fly pool table. Haven't had much time to post in a good while, felt honored to be included in your list! They are all short boxes, howev...

Armstrong Ale
After watching auctions for about a year go for $25 - $50 + shipping, I nabbed one on ebay a few years back for about $15 shipped, didn't have the card or the original shipping box with it. They still turn up on there periodically, just have to be patient and you can get a good deal! Maybe you could...

Psi-Lords #1 VVSS/Ninjak #1 Gold for sale
This is the another VVSS that was supposedly sold when I offered several of them here on the board a couple years ago, but the person never did send payment. Since I really didn't need the money, just packed it away again with the others that didn't sell. Ran across them the other day, and sold a co...

Does a set of the Valiant Files cards REALLY exist?
While reading thru this thread (or another similar one), I seem to remember a mention of one of the projects Justin was supposedly working on was a release of the Valiant Files card set, and that he had gotten these from Seaborn's family. I was just wondering if a set actually exisiting has ever bee...

Mine found a place in the man-cave
After much protesting by my wife that my standee needed to go in the comic room, it has now stood proudly out in the open in my man-cave for a year now! Guess that means it time to dig out some of my movie standees now and start sliding them in one at a time......... :D Jaime http://shell.ayrix.net/...

It was on this board, haha
Yea, now I remember it was on here. Like anything else else I guess, different people have different experiences. Been dealing with 'em for probably 12 years or so and never had anything damaged or an order that was messed up that wasn't corrected immediately. Let's put the torches, tar, and feather...

My source
Can't remember if it was on here or on another board I told people about my source, www.hotflips.com. Wherever it was, some other people ordered from them and compained about the cost of shipping. So I will say at the beginning that they are in New Jersey, and charge exact shipping fees to your hous...

Wow, magnusr'! Quite an impressive display of art there! and to MrBigFeathas, my son went wild over the spider-room. He is only 10, but sure makes dad proud being a fan of comics. His room has the whole spidey decor, bed set, curtains, poster, etc. For his birthday in June, think I'm going to shadow...

ManoftheAtom questions
Where can I get shelves (sp?) like those? And how do you keep them from collapsing because of the weight with those thin legs? I had them put in by a professional closet/storage organizer (didn't know there was such a thing at the time. The are reinforced steel (similar to, but higher grade than wha...

Mississippi has to have a few good points!
Lots of drawbacks to living in the deep South, but building is not one of them. Here in Mississippi, I was able to build my 4,000 heated square feet dream home for about $173K last year. Had a contractor with good sources on a lot of things, so that helped immensely. The Cool World clock is one of t...

Pictures of our "Man-Caves"
Someone suggested this a whiile ago, and I was going to start a thread then, but forgot to ever do it. So here it finally is! This is the upstairs of our house. I made it into 2 rooms, the 21 x 32 room for me, then a 20 x 21 storage area. off the main room is my comic "closet" which is 25 ...

shipping amounts
It bothers me that you are all telling me their service has slipped, hate to have to look for another place to order stuff from after about 10 years of doing business with 'em........ Christopher, If I remember correctly, expect around $15-20 shipping. Think you will be pleased with the quality! quality of bags
Can't remember the thickness. I am fairly anal about my bags and boards, and I have been using 'em for about 7 years now. Looked back through my older ones, and bags still look like I just put 'em in there. I also especially like the 2 inch flap on the bags. I'm also going to short boxes, and don't ...

Hotflios is the best place I've found
http://www.hotflips.com/ is the best place I have found to buy in bulk. I usually order about 2000 bags/boards + boxes at a time, but they have all kind of price discount levels that you can even mix and match bag/board sizes and types to meet. For a price quote, my last order was a little over $10...
