Re: 4001 AD: War Mother Discussion

Furiosa along with a Johnny Five-like sentient gun? I'm in favor of this continuing. Wait until she has to teach the gun about puberty...

Keith, I understand your signature now. Did you see that ludicrous display last night???

Re: 4001 AD: Shadowman

I don't mind the loose tie-ins, but I could smell the YA aspect on this book from the jump.

Meh.

Re: A&A Pale Ale - Online Retailer

If pale ale is your thing, you'll probably enjoy A&A.

As I told Keith, call me when it's time for Bloodshot Brown Ale.

Dynamite breakdown by Tim. I always tend to look at Faith as being a representation of us, the reader. In a world full of anti-heroes and "too cool for school" characters, Faith is an honest portrayal of how an average comic fan would react to being thrown into that world. I loved her arc with Unity ...

Re: Wrath of The Eternal Warrior #1

The earth doesn't let him 'die' when fatally wounded... But he probably does still technically die from serious enough wounds, and I think it's a reasonable extrapolation to say that his spirit temporarily crosses over into some pocket of the Valiant spiritual dimension (aka, where the deadside ...

"I'm just trying to make a point, Frank. You don't have to celebrate it."

Thanks, sirs. I understand that swearing just demonstrates a lack of inspired vocabulary, but I also don't give a *SQUEE*.

As someone who just "Johnny 5'd" a crap ton of TPBs, I'm with you. That's why I'm keeping the 1992 Valiant in a mental time-capsule.

Those are all on the Scribd service, by the way. If you're just looking to read, I can't recommend it enough.

Re: Because I'm new to Valiant again...

I've never liked that we, as fans, have to concern ourselves about sales or ratings when it comes to the things we love. I know most of the folks around here have a vested interest that goes beyond casual fandom, but popularity does not dictate merit! Ask Los Del Rio or NASCAR (sorry NASCAR fans ...

I was born a poor black child...

I’ve never heard of Valiant until two months ago. But in that same amount of time, I’ve destroyed more TPBs than the Immortal Enemy has Geomancers. Your very own Keith from this board was responsible for my assimilation. I can’t thank him enough for being the Morpheus to my Neo (c’mon, no one ...
