Re: Catalyst Prime (New CB Universe)
You guys still reading? Kino, Astonisher, Noble, and Accell all have me enamored and I can't wait to finally pick up Summit and Incidentals. The only book I don't truly like is Superb.
I do worry the low sales will see this line a quick death though....
Some titles selling well under 1K....

It feels so good to be right. Where is that idiot who tried so hard to spam the boards with copy and paste methods now? Hahaha, he probably split with his tails between his legs.

Nice bumps in orders for Harbinger and Bloodshot this month, and unlike others I didn't expect Harbinger Wars to break 20k, I was expecting between 17-18k in orders. Still, that's more than enough to draw Valiant come profit and to widen your number of readers, so great job to Valiant this month!

Re: Should VEI use more of the Old Valiant ideas?
If they wanted to use nothing but old ideas than they would've relaunched the books as continuations, but I think fresh idea's and characters are the way to go and from what I can tell they've used some older ideas already. Keep the use of older ideas minimal and come up with some great ideas that ...

More success for Valiant? I'm not surprised at all! They're a financial success, a critical success, and sooner or later they'll be a media success and it's all thanks to a wonderful and hard working creative staff and management team.

Nice issue! Harada vs Bloodshot was pretty epic and we get to see a lot of the kid's in action throughout the issue, but the ending really got me excited with seeing that jerk force HARD Corps into action (which we should see next issue), what a nice finish to the issue! I like how the story is king ...

Re: Spoiler from Bleedingcool ** WARNING - FCBD SPOILER IN
As most people know by now, I have NO knowledge or connection to the Valiant of old so I have no expectations whatsoever. Also, I know a huge chunk of VEI's readers are actually brand new to the properties and have no expectations either. I personally think that VEI should have chosen a different ...

Awesome.
I do kind of wish they chose a different name to separate themselves from the Valiant of old, but all in all the teases and the upcoming proposed crossover seems like it will be cool. I hope it's kind of a quick crossover though, I don't want some long and drawn out line wide event that ...

Okay, I couldn't hold out until my Friday trip to grab issue #12 and I went to my LCS just a little whole ago and picked this issue up (along with Bloodshot #10).
First off, what a breathtaking cover. Seriously, this has to rank among one of the most stunning covers I've ever seen on a comic book ...

It's too bad the Samedi follower killed himself off to give Samedi his body, since I was interested in seeing more of him. I mean seeing more of him as himself, not as a corpse possessed by Samedi.

As long as it's not going to be priced at like $300 or something than I could see myself getting this, I do think $130-$150 would be my cut-off price though. Still, I bet it will look really sweet and I can't wait to see one in person.

Re: Shadowman #6 Discussion
I am suprised at the negative response SHADOWMAN has gotten recently.
As a new fan to Valiant and picking up SHADOWMAN from #1 I'm loving the series (more so for the second arc #5 & #6).
The supporting cast is fantastic and has added another element to SHADOWMAN.
#6 is the best in the series ...

Looks very nice! You know me, I'm loving this book and I'm totally on board for issue #0, hopefully it's a great story and they continue the upward trend since issue #5 where things started to heat up. I have faith.

I may have to start doing individual issue reviews just to give readers the real deal on what a real comic book is or isn't, CBR was simply too way off on their Harbinger Wars #1 review.
Ah, screw it. We know better anyhow.

Shadowman #4 was where the book lost me. It just felt like everything was wrapped up magically. (pun intended).
I really have to sit down and read #1-4 in one sitting at some point to see if I understood the arc. But the fact that I don't even feel motivated to do that speaks volumes about my ...

I didn't dislike the multiple artists completely, I just feel that this book (or any book) would have been more enjoyable to me if there was just one artist doing the chores. But again, it isn't like I disliked the issue, I loved it to death actually, I just would have preferred one artist ...

X-O #11 was a good issue, and I don't think Valiant hyped up issue #11 more so than they did the entire Planet Death storyline and since it's only just begun I think we need to chill and see where it goes. All good epics start slow and build as they go, it gives us something to look forward to.

Re: Why are you under whelmed by Shadowman?
I would rather read Shadowman than anything DC has going on (and I actually like DC) and I would certainly read Shadowman over anything that terrible company known as Marvel is doing, or has done since around 2002/2003. I've kept tabs in Marvel here and there just for the sake of it (without ...
