I've seen many, many instances where books are bid up way above ebay store BINs. The heat of competition?

I was eyeing your EW 1 9.8 when it was 35. But I held off because I've seen EW 1 9.8 (and Rai 0 9.8) end in the mid $20s in no reserve auctions in the recent past.

Just glancing around the VCC, it didn't look loke there were a lot of sales made. My personal theory is that the economy has tanked and everyone is getting a lot more careful with their money.

Any other theories? :?

S & V sold one on ebay about 2 weeks ago that closed at $26 and change. I'm getting more and more hesitant paying $$$ for these as they seem to be coming out of the woodwork in 9.8.

That said, I do want a #6.

Re-reading The Second Life of Dr. Mirage, I noticed art by "Jordi Ensign" near the end of the run. I'm presuming that this is a psuedonym and a play on "Ensign Jordi" from Star Trek TNG. Does anyone know who this person really is, and why they used a psuedonym?
