Great news...so when do the new comics start?

This is incredible. Something as a Valiant fan I've dreamed of for years...now I just want to know when the new series will debut? Hopefully Eternal Warrior (as a comic) won't be far behind!!

The Eternals

I just read the Gaiman/Romita take on Kirby's Eternals and it was quite good. While I'm not a Marvel fan anymore at all I must say that with the new Thor and with the new upcoming Eternals ongoing series they are winning me back a little. Anyone else have a take on the Eternals? I really thought ...

Yeah, how the DC's "New Earth" is going to deal with 2 Supermen is going to be interesting...like I said I'm not a big fan of the 52 Multiverses but if its done well it will be very interesting indeed.

They have dealt well enough with 2 Flashes and 2-3+ Green Lanterns at a given time, so 2 ...

Justice Society of America

I must say that I am really enjoying this series and wonder how its going to go with the introduction of the Kingdom Come Superman. I'm not a multiverse fan but this seems like a pretty interesting idea. The series overall is much better than I expected as the storytelling has held up.

I'm a pretty big Thor fan as well and have been since my Dad bought me my first comic way back in the late 70's which was, of course, a Thor book .So far the new series is pretty good. Looks like they are going to rebuild everything. I have almost the complete run of Jurgen's and Romita's Thor from ...

I have been thinking about this lately and have come to the conclusion that VIP really is a company run by scum *SQUEE* 's. The reason I beleave this is not because they have some Valiant Trademarks and plan to make new characters that have nothing to do with the originals. It is because they use ...

Testament is pretty good but I agree is lacks some direction and wanders a bit. I read DMZ in the trade paperback series and like it alot. Army@Love has a really great concept but its not keeping my interest so I might have to axe that one.

[Highly recommend Morrison's Invisibles and Transmetropolitan by Ellis (which started elsewhere). Can't go wrong with Animal Man either.

Really loved both of these series but never checked out Animal Man before but have been hearing good things about it.

I always liked the old adage "collecting for fun not profit" so that's pretty much my mantra but if I get lucky and buy a book that ends up with some value later on its just an added bonus. I never thought my Preacher #1 would be worth anything more that just a great read. That's what I felt about ...

Buying Valiant Comics

Man, I keep trying to get early Valiant stuff off ebay but keep getting outbid at the last second of the auction. I just don't have time to sit in front of the computer till the last second...guess I'll just get back to raiding $1.00 boxes before the comic owners start pulling the issues out ...

On Line Inventories

I'm new to the site but old to Valiant Comics. One of the coolest things about this site, amongst the tons of cool stuff and people here, is the online inventory manager. How often does Greg update it? It's no big deal or anything but its cool to see your collection broke down with the pie charts ...
