Thanks guys. I see the news that I accepted an offer of $2000 broke over a week ago but I wasn't ready to count my chickens before they hatched (and cleared Canadian customs). The sale went through, buyer received the Bloodshot platinum and left me positive feedback. I'm giddy as a schoolgirl ...

Best offer the first time around was $2100 and a few others were pretty close to that.

It was tempting for sure but it came real early and I wanted to see what other offers might come in.

I could've made a new thread but I figured I'd just bump and resurrect this one.

My Bloodshot #0 Platinum is back up on eBay.

New link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180419103909

Yes, it's still a "sky high" Buy It Now! price but I have a better idea of the kind of offers I ...

CGC just sent me the "imaging" I paid for. Arrived in my inbox less than half an hour ago. You can see the whole slab and they really made the colors pop: http://i32.tinypic.com/2cdfnn8.jpg

Updated the auction to add this pic too.

Ask and ye shall receive. But as they say, be careful what you wish for.

Here's three webcam snaps of me and the book:

(And yes, I've been mainly handling the plastic bag so I don't get the slab dirty.)

Yeah, upping the pic via eBay it seems to have shrunk it automatically. I upped it larger to tinypic and linked it above. Here's the link again but to the raw image: http://i28.tinypic.com/2vvlsvr.jpg

Thing is I paid the $3 extra for "imaging" from CGC but they've never gotten back to me on that. I ...

I know it's a sky-high BIN price, but can anyone tell me what's the market like for a B0plat 9.8? Have any been sold since derbycitycomics' one went for $5500?

Weren't they selling for 2-3 thousand before then and the price just kept climbing?

I'd think when it comes to something as rare as this ...

My expectations are much more in the 3-4 range than in the 5 one. But I want to see what kind of offers I get. If somehow at the end of the auction I haven't accepted any offer, I may just put it up for normal open bidding auction.

As for the state, I'm in Indiana (which I know is an area others ...

Yeah, I'm about as hopeful to get the BIN price as I was to get it graded 9.8. Doesn't mean I'm not crossing my fingers and throwing coins into wishing wells.

The thing is, according to a friend of mine whose big into collectibles, he says the few weeks just before comic-con you can find auctions ...

Man I paid the $3 for imaging from CGC. Not sure how that's supposed to work. Do they email me a digital pic? Is it somewhere I can access it?

Almost ready to post the BuyItNow/Best Offer auction, but for those wanting to see a pic, here you go:

Holy fricking schnikes.

I went and snagged it from the post office this morning. And it came back CGC graded 9.8.

I know .

Gonna take one of my friends advice and put it up for a 30 day auction so it may give some collectors something to think about heading into Comic-Con.

And something to ...

Lovely. It's like if you want it to rain, you just need to start carrying an umbrella around. I used the CGC web contact form yesterday before whining about them on here.

And now I woke up this morning to an email with a registration number for USPS tracking.

So hopefully, there will be an ...

Blah. I took 400yrs advice and sent my Bloodshot #0 off three weeks ago.

It was over ten days ago that they charged my credit card for grading. Does their "five business days" usually take this long?

Tricky thing is in my credit card charge from 6/26 I see a "94" which could be nothing, could be ...

How does it look outside of the bag?

These chromium covers usually grade out well. It's a book that I would definitely get graded for selling. If it comes back with a low grade, it's probably going to turn out that you could've sold it for more raw, but I'd get the assurance of what you are ...

Hopefully this will make all the previous fan boy money you spent worth it. Nah. The previous fan boy money was for the memories and fun of collecting. All my old so called collectibles are gently used and abused because I read them all. Occasionally with Cheetos fingers.

This is more like ...

I've looked it up and done the research. I'm about as certain as I can be that it's a platinum. But I will get some pics going soon.

And if it's not a platinum... then why the heck didn't I get a gold logo for my 'Valiant' effort.

EDIT: The scanner's kinda dirty and the bag/board it's in isn't ...

So my mom was cleaning out her garage yesterday...

Well, technically it was my aunt cleaning out my mom's garage but that's too much explanation for this thread title. And she found an old long box full of bagged and boarded comics. My interest in collectibles had pretty much waned and I knew that the prices I paid way back when are still way more ...
