I picked up a few trades this weekend for $2.00 each at a yearly sale in my LCS. They were EDGE #'s 1 and 2. I've never had a chance to read any of the CG stuff from the start and i fgured it would be an introduction. Only problem is the Sigil story seems to start at Chapter 13. Whatever that means! :lol:
When I was five, I dragged my dad into "Mike's Comic Hut"... If only I'd known..

I picked up these 8 Crossgen Digital Comics/DVDs for a buck a piece plus s/h. Not too shabby, great art, sound, voice and special effects. If these are anything like the 'comics on the web' that is out there from Crossgen, I will be happy.

Whoo hoo I got those DVDs in today.... eh, they are not as great as I thought they would be. So, I can wait until I read the books to check them out... of course I only started with Negation.

anyone ever read Abadazad? I picked up the first two issues out of a bargain bin. Really neat stuff similiar to stories like Alice in Wonderland, Oz and Narnia in that a child from our world is transplanted to a weird world and encounters all kinds of weird creatures in his/her adventures. Probably would be a real good book to share with your kids, if you were inclined to do so. :thumb:

Two days ago, I was walking through Target and saw about three issues of Abadazad in hardback form solicited through Disney !!!! It was the same as the comics just in smaller form and as mentioned, in hardback.

I may go pick these up and maybe not as I see Disney as destroying the Crossgen line with their purchase and no plan to use any of the other characters other than Abadazad.

I hope that this changes. :hope:

Four hundred years ago, soon after the Saurian/Human war began, a number of Humans were hunting a lone Saurian called Terchac. By luck and skill, the unarmed Terchac managed to take the last three Humans hostage using their weapons. They persuade him that there are other monsters out there and they should stick together. Later that night, Terchac uses the last charges in his weapon to attack these Zygors, but finds out he has slaughtered the remains of his squad. He manages to kill the remaining humans, but he has no supplies left. Reluctionly, he eats the human's bodies. Rising the next morning, Terchac discovers that his body has been changed by the eating of humans

By Di Vito & Hunter
Two hundred years after the events of Saurians 1, Terchac has founded the Church of Transformation. The Order of Khyalhtua attack his church and followers, but Terchac escapes. He manages to reach Weaponsmaster Hrukkan of the Order Of Khyalhtua who claims no knowledge of the attack, but offers to find out the truth together. Terchac follows him for the rest of the day, until the two approach an outdoor campfire. Terchac sprints in, guns blazing while Hrukkan laughs. He has tricked Terchac into once again killing his own people. Or has he? Terchac has learned from the past and has instead freed his followers but killing their jailers. Enraged, Hrukkan attacks and is killed in a duel by Terchac. Eventually Terchac took the post of Weaponsmaster and was transformed into Khyradon. Now he leads the Saurians against the Humans.

NOTE : The framing sequence for this mini-series takes place around Sigil 14.

They might be on your list Knightt but I looked real quick and didn't notice them :thumb:

One American dollar a piece... (and the guy gave me 15 for free as I was a repeat customer, so I guess a bit less than a dollar)

I think I have about 100 issues to go to be at 100% (not including TPBs, Forge or Edge books, which I don't think that I will try and get... but maybe :hm: ) (the thing about the TPBs is that they still sell for a decent amount of cash, being TPBs and all I can understand that)

I was thinking about bidding more but my $$$ are somewhat focused on a few Marvel mini-busts that I have my eye on.

I think that Crossgen is one of the harder sets to put together using Ebay and geez, I want to finish this one DU so badly. Not like my remaining Valiant collection (that gets no attention) where the last books I need are the pricey ones but the smattering of Crossgen that I have left are kicking my *SQUEE* to find.

If my comic cash was not focused elsewhere right now I would have went for it... lotsa stuff for well under $30. But many of the issues do not look they are bagged either... out of all my DU collections, I am picky about the condition of Valiant and Crossgen.
