This story must be red with an open mind! In this version of the Valiant Universe, Armstrong is a powerful brute, instead of a fat, drunken slob. Also, for some reason, he has a hockey mask on, instead of the 'ski mask' asked for in the script. I've also noted that there's not enough room in the artwork to include proper word balloons & captions. If this had ever been published, I'm sure a good editior would have had several pages redone.---Steve

Help Justin!

The Links do not work! I can't see what everyone is raving about.

Does anyone have this somewhere?

Thanks.

edlockman it might be time to catch up on current events. If I could have read the future I would have saved the art that was shown sadly I did not. Maybe someone here did and could repost it.

Man, how in the heck did I miss this thread? :!:

From the comments here, this must have been some pretty impressive stuff. If anyone does have these pages to repost, it would be greatly appreciated!

It was actually looking like it was going to a very good series. I liked the premise better than the original and the artwork was great too.

Current Events

Post by edlockman »

I hope that someone has this on hard drive somewhere as well. I know that VIP is out there, but as for current events, as soon as they actually start publishing a book again, they really don't seen current. Something like this, art archaeology, is.

Here's hoping that someone has this as well as VIP getting on the stick.

I'm not sure what this means. VIP did not win, purchase, or even bid on any rights to Valiant characters.

VIP is the name of the "company" that applied for trademarks to characters they do not own,
and are being subsequently rejected by the US Patent & Trademark office
for their applications.

VIP is soon to be RIP.

Perhaps you meant "the new owners of VALIANT" need to get on the stick.
(... assuming that means "hurry up").

My apologies...

Post by edlockman »

Sorry folks

Didn't say what I actually meant. I meant the group that legally owns the rights to the VALIANT characters and not the VIP group. My bad.

Yes, get on the stick is a euphemism for "get moving" or the such. Again, in my head, it made sense. Unfortnately, it was lost in the translation between my head and computer

Anyway, if anyone has these pages, please be kind enough to post or direct to where they happen to exist if you would.

Thanks!
