This fool paid...and paid dearly....for some of these books. This one was the worst. $281 for a common, late Silver Age VF copy that Guides for $57?
I think this guy will learn his lesson after this. Oy.

Resurrecting an oldie but a...well, short lived thread...
I ran across this this AM, having nothing better to do since I wasn't sleeping....

Look at his terms.
Go ahead, I'll wait.
Can you believe that? $4 HANDLING fee ON TOP of the actual postage.
Good god almighty, what a racket.
Someone...please, someone somewhere...point me in the direction of ANYONE who pays $4 PER PACKAGE for 'handling'. Minus the $1-$1.50 TOPS for packing material, and you've got yourself a $30-$45 an hour job if you only pack 10-15 packages an hour!

Huh...$10-$12 for the set seems about right. That said, it was a very good underrated series. The last 10 or so issues are impossible to find, and # 1 & 10 are semi-keys as they each feature a few pages of Whilce Portacio's first professional artwork (first as inker, then penciler)
Seriously, this series is my favorite quarter-bin find...

Whilce's first pro work was the Longshot mini, which came out a year+_ before SM #1.Rai-fan wrote:Huh...$10-$12 for the set seems about right. That said, it was a very good underrated series. #1 is inked by Whilce, and #10 and #16 are penciled by him, too.
