Planet Death art is incredible

New book called Planet Death announced today. The art is off the charts. Writer of John Wick is writing it which is cool. But doesn't Valiant own the name planet death?

Bad Idea art is always killer. The stories, not so much. The stories seem like an afterthought when it comes to Bad Idea. But, I don’t blame him. After losing a company built on stories, I would try something different as well. Had to hurt bad.
Muse Rocks! Check out “The Handler”.

Surprised by this because I've thought some of the bad idea books have been the best in comics over the last few years. Not everything but more than half. They seem to experiment a lot and that doesn't always work but I thought these were as strong as any comics over the last 5 years.

The Ends
Pyrate Queen
Hero Trade
Orc Island
The Finder
Eniac

All 10/10 imo. As good as anything peak Valiant

Yea, I don't get this. For my money, Bad Idea killed it on both the writing and art departments. As syzhang said, it's on par with VEI's overall quality.

Planet Death looks pretty sweet. Not really into the Kickstarter hardcover releases anymore though so I’m on the fence about it whenever it comes along. I am looking forward to Megalith & Save Now though, both of which I backed on KS.

And for me personally, the stories are pretty hit-or-miss overall. I wouldn’t go into a Bad Idea book blind unless the premise sounds good in advance & the art is appealing.

My personal favourite Bad Idea books to date have been Eniac, Odinn’s Eye, The Finder & Orc Island. Anything else I’ve tried out has been pretty meh.

Ok, I just got the free digital pdf copy of the preview book that was given out in print form at SDCC… I already thought the book looked great but wow, it is quite exceptional looking! This might persuade me to back that KS!

VERY interesting that Vditti is writing Planet Death. Deja vu?
I've been looking everywhere for the ultra-rare Turok vs Blister issue. Anybody able to help me out?
