"Buried Alien"

Could VALIANT do with Solar what Marvel did with Barry Allen?

Could an amnesic Phil Seleski just show up and become a Solar-esque character the way that Barry Allen became "Buried Alien"?

That issue is a great highlight of the Quasar run - I remember reading it after pulling it off the racks as a newsstand back in the day. It was just unreal that Gruenwald went there. It was awesome.

Trivia time! It also wasn't the first time that the Flash was hinted at appearing in a Marvel Comic, believe it or not....

Marvel Team-Up #121 | Marvel [09/1982]

The first appearance of Frog Man also features a stunned Barry Allen and Iris West on the cover reacting with shock to Speed Demon.......

Cool. I think there are other comics with Clark Kent in them too.
