Greg Finally Sells Something! (Updated 8/18/2023)

Post by greg »

My wife wants me to sell a few items so we can do some special things in a few weeks (Honolulu, etc.)
I may offer some things on Facebook and other places, but I wanted to start here.

Payment: PayPal or Venmo
Shipping: CGC will be boxed for $15 (+$5 each additional CGC) in the U.S. (ask for other countries)
Trust: If you don't already know me, I'm the board administrator, 100% Feedback on eBay since 1997, Overstreet Advisor, etc.
Priority: A buying reply in the topic takes priority over any ongoing private discussions.
Questions: Send a private message.

What is the ValiantComics.com Collection?

For those who don't already know, I am the owner of ValiantComics.com for nearly 25 years.
I started my first Valiant fan websites in the later-1990s and registered the valiantcomics.com domain.
It was done while Acclaim still existed, so it pre-dates anything any Valiant owner has done since.
Books from my collection are part of the "ValiantComics.com Collection" simply because I'm the ValiantComics.com guy.

A certificate comes with the books stating how long the book was part of the collection.
"Collection" is different from a "pedigree" in comic collecting because a pedigree requires
the original owner to keep the books for a long time together in the same collection.
I'm not the original owner for most of these books in the ValiantComics.com Collection.
I do require that a book has been mine for over a year before it earns a certificate.
The history is also documented on the collection website.

ValiantComics.com Collection

If all this is meaningless to you, that's no problem. I always try to give as much information
as I can when I think that someone might benefit from it. You can throw away the certificate
and the books will be exactly the same as every other CGC graded book in the same grade.

Perhaps some day in the far future, it will be a novelty to know that a book was once owned
by the Valiant fan who owned the ValiantComics.com domain and ran the website in the 20th century.
... or maybe not. :D

*VC* indicates that the book comes with a ValiantComics.com Collection certificate.
The year will be noted as *VC'17* for a book in the collection since 2017.
*VC'18" for a book in the collection since 2018, *VC'19* for 2019, etc.
