Harbinger TPB 1st/2nd Print

I was looking at the VH1 checklist and trying to reconcile what I have with what I'm still missing. It mentions a first and second print of the Harbinger TPB. Can anyone shed some light on what the difference is between the two?

The difference is that second printing is listed in one and not the other. Also, the first printing was polybagged and came with Harbinger #0. The second printing was NOT polybagged.

There are three versions of the Harbinger TPB:

Harbinger: Children of the Eighth Day TPB (First Print)

• Polybagged with a copy of Harbinger #0 Blue. Has a black Harbinger emblem on cover. Cannot recall if it has 100,000 or 150,000 printed copies.

Harbinger: Children of the Eighth Day TPB (Bluebird Variant —- NOT the Second Printing)

• (I believe) 30,000-35,000 printed copies. FAR less common in NM+/M and/or 9.8 condition

Harbinger: Children of the Eighth Day TPB (Second Printing)

• NOT polybagged, and did not come with Harbinger #0 Blue. Looks exactly like the First Printing (Black Harbinger emblem on cover). “Second Printing” is listed inside the book (NOT on the cover). (I believe) it has 15,000 printed copies. Very difficult to find in NM+/M and/or 9.8.

Dbs- the blue tpb was a 1:25 variant.. meaning when you ordered 25 the 25th was blue, I guess you can base the potential print run off that

You may well be correct.

I can not recall the exact incentive associated with the Bluebird, only that the number 30,000-35,000 seems to jump out in my memory.

Perhaps Greg has something in his archives?
