Nope...still would have sucked balls.jmatt wrote:Which just goes to show that bad ideas have always been around.myron wrote:At least it wasn't to the X-O bike...
Just had a thought... what if the X-O bike had been a cool looking chopper that Aric rode around while he was just doing his day-to-day business. That might have worked.
And initially I wasn't complaining about the stupid sh!t in that poster, I was complaining about the art itself...IMO it isn't anything that I find appealing.
Why waste time learning, when ignorance is instantaneous?

Yeah, but not as much as a mountain bike with pegs.myron wrote:Nope...still would have sucked balls.jmatt wrote:Which just goes to show that bad ideas have always been around.myron wrote:At least it wasn't to the X-O bike...

Well I was mostly right. What does that mean for Rising Spirit? Thought that was ongoing. Ending at #10 in August? Or will there be two simultaneous Bloodshot titles?The Chosen 1 wrote:Its a new Bloodshot series starting in September;

The Pre-Order Edition for Bloodshot Rising Spirit was solicited for issues #1-8 I believe. I assumed that would (thankfully) be the series duration.

Yeah, Rising Spirit will almost certainly be in the rear-view.
I am really excited that Seeley is interested in writing Bloodshot from the point-of-view of other characters around him. According to interviews, Tim is willing to consciously explore an iconic character presented in a narrative in which Bloodshot will be considered from the perspective of the third person.
This orientation works for other truly “other” characters in genre fiction, Doctor Who being the most long-lasting example, where regardless of the incarnation, viewers mostly see the Doctor through the lens of his (her!) human companions.
Seeley writes mostly horror comics, right? I’m more familiar with his Nightwing work but I am looking forward to seeing how He handles handles this, and I think his take on Bloodshot could be really interesting.

Bloodshot 'Locked and Loaded' eh?
Can't decide whether I feel that title is cool or corny. Mixture of both I think
From the comments in that article it feels to me almost as if it's going to be a standalone story that could be taking place at any given point in time which I guess would be okay. Anything's better than a ret-con anyway...
