"Returning Soon"?

I'm sure it was unintentional, but that is a savage dragon, right?

May be he's the new version of Turok and he's "returning" from the Lost Land equivalent.

Would Turok have a crest like that?

Another thought... Doc Savage is public domain now(?) :hm:

It would be a weird direction to incorporate such a character, given the long publication history outside of Valiant... but not impossible.

The way this is done as heraldry makes me wonder if it is related to Britannia?

Different thought... the Savage image is similar to the Crest of London.

Perhaps Savage and Brittania are connected. :hm:

The whole returning soon thing has thrown me for a loop. I went looking through a list of old Valiant titles and comics on Wikipedia from Armorines to PunX for a clue. Nothing...

The crest reminds me more of a soccer or rugby crest. A soccer hooligan character?!?

Returning soon...hmmm...the idea of someone returning from the Far Away is intriguing, but what if this "Savage" is someone we have met before in some way?

Or this is just the classified character from the 4001 solicits who will be returning in their own series.

The logo / image is not what I had envisioned the 'Savage' to depict from a teaser or story viewpoint. I, like many others I suspect, were thinking along the lines of a Turok-type character with a story set in the Far Far Away with dinosaurs - granted this may still be the case, we know very little, but this image doesn't do anything for me...

Colin King is going to be in a teleporter accident and split into two people, one of whom loses his impulse control making him "savage"

I'm really digging that graphic design - very cool logo! Love that it's the opposite of what you'd expect from the term Savage. Has me very curious to see what it's about.

Another thought...

What if it has something to do with Punk Mambo? :hm:

If her loa was "inside her" like Shadowman loa on our side of reality... she'd "return", she'd be British, and she'd need a "superhero" name. Savage?

That would fit the soccer hooligan logo a bit better as well.
