WonderCon 2016
Exhibitor and Artist Alley lists are up and posted. Image Comics is back again, thankfully. Really enjoyed the talent they had at their booth last year.
VEI will also have a booth.
Talent related to Valiant...looks like Bernard Chang, Ming Doyle, Clayton Henry, Paolo Rivera.
Feel free to add to this thread, and post if you're going to be there. I have weekend passes and am glad I don't have to drive to Anaheim this year!

Re: WonderCon 2016
I got my pass today. I was denied a press pass, which I completely do not understand. Anyway I will talk to someone about it when I am there for sure. I wish it was still in Anaheim personally, but it is about the same distance from Phoenix so whatever. Only thing I am not sure of is which days I am going or where I am staying. I bought a 3 day pass but not sure if I will go all 3 days.

I think the plan is to return to Anaheim when the construction on the Anaheim Convention Center is complete.Jace wrote:I got my pass today. That is my understanding too, yet they keep mentioning actually wanting to return to SF. I guess we'll see!jeremycoe wrote:I think the plan is to return to Anaheim when the construction on the Anaheim Convention Center is complete.Jace wrote:I got my pass today. Re: WonderCon 2016
Sadly I think LA is a one year thing, too. I keep hearing talk of retuning to SF but I think they could realistically run both. Do like a WonderCon North and a WonderCon South. They're killing it with attendance down here in SoCal. It blows away anything else in California besides San Diego of course.

I too prefer Anaheim but I am going to enjoy being in L.A. The commute is super easy! Lol

I'll be there Saturday with my family. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
Not looking forward to it being in Los Angeles. Boooo. Dodgers suck.

Haha as much as I dislike the Dodgers, Vin Scully is a legend and one of the greatest of all time. It is just terrible that he was stuck with the Dodgers all this time and their underachieving ways.Elveen wrote:Blood of Heroes wrote:You mean " best announcer since Jerry Coleman died".Elveen wrote:Blood of Heroes wrote:I'll be there Saturday with my family. My bad. Jerry Coleman was just the better rookie of the year. And allstar. And World Series mvp. And decorated WWII fighter pilot. And decorated Korean War fighter pilot.Elveen wrote:Blood of Heroes wrote:You mean " best announcer since Jerry Coleman died".Elveen wrote:Blood of Heroes wrote:I'll be there Saturday with my family. Mitch Gerads and Russel Dauterman, too. They've done some variant covers for VEI.

I'm looking forward to it. Still miss it being in San Francisco, but we'll see how the show does in LA. Definitely not mad about the travel this year.

Sweet! I know you always do well at this show so this is great news man. Though knowing you will be working the booth means less time to hang out. But I am sure we will find some time to grub.
