This looks like a flat. If that is the case, it is not one of 5 and the price should be around $25-$50. There is also a seller listing the x-o flat as 1 of 3 for ~$1000.

Definitely a flat, and this guy has been trying to sell these for hundreds of dollars for ages. Cool that it's a gold flat. I don't think I've seen that before.

There is always the slim chance that these are exactly what he says they are, but I'm not willing to take a chance.

That looks like the innermost layer (the silver/platinum insides) is missing. I thought that the other layers of the process were placed on top of the silver base layer, so it's odd that the first layer would be missing. That's like a high-rise building that doesn't have a ground floor. Those layers are just "floating" on nothing.

I would guess that this kind of error could be created if you could peel the silver layer off the (inside) cover.
