Board traffic

Post by jmatt »

Is it me or does board traffic seem way down the last few months? Yeah, it's always quieter on the weekends but it seems to me like it's been this way for awhile now.

I find it slows down as we enter the school year and head toward the holidays.

I've noticed as well. I suspect people are just busy during this time of the year. Would be interesting to see a chart of VF Board activity over a 12 month period.

Of course, much like Harada, I would use that data to target specific dates and/or times to buy and/or sell of course.

I had the same feeling last year after Armor Hunters ended. Event fatigue? Of course, then they hit with news about Valiant Next and we were back at the races.
Good Morning, that's a nice tnetennba.

I've certainly been one who has had less time available to hang out & post over the last several months, but when I do drop in there seems to be a lot less to catch up on recently. Greg's chart does seem to indicate a tail-off in general lately, but I'm sure that's just a natural dip that will swell again.

I love it when Greg busts out a chart. It does feel kind of light on conversations lately, but that happens sometimes.

Maybe we should all weigh in on the theory that Jar Jar was actually the Phantom Menace, and a manipulator during the entire Star Wars prequel trilogy. :hm:

Isn't it common knowledge by now that Jar Jar Binks was a Sith Lord bent on destroying the Jedi?

Probably. Somehow I hadn't heard it before, though. :hm:

DarthJarJar.com was registered on Halloween this year, so I guess I should have known 10 days ago.

Been spending time on the Valiant Fans Fantasy Football League. :D

Must be Football Season.

It has definitely been a lot more quiet for Bruce and myself.

We had a greater number of VEI related promos in 2014 to May 2015 than in June 2015 to present.

I saw a guy driving a truck like an *SQUEE* today, and he then sped past a school zone. I was thinking "Please, please, please let there be a cop there" and sure enough he got pulled over. Enjoy that big ticket, a-hole!

The Owl and the *SQUEE* cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five pound note.
The Owl looked up to the stars above,
And sang to a small guitar,
O lovely *SQUEE*! O *SQUEE* my love,
What a beautiful *SQUEE* you are,
You are,
You are!
What a beautiful *SQUEE* you are!

Hey, I'm not done yet.

I work with a guy who once had a sexual interlude with the niece of a Hall of Fame NFL coach. This happened on the 15th green of a local golf course. He claims he never made worse than par on that hole again.

Stan Lee once dressed in drag. After that day, Eleanor Roosevelt never slept with a man again.
