Strange New Kindle Worlds
I've started a new series of articles over at Valiant Central about the Valiant Kindle Worlds program. The first installment is up and the articles should come out bi-monthly.

If you've participated in writing or making covers for Kindle I want to hear from you! I'd love to hear about your creative process. Just PM me about it!
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for bringing this back into my radar btw. I read Jake's Shadowman book but hadn't gone back for more books. Picked Slow Burn up today.

I wrote one for shadowman called the reaping. It was fun to do.

Re: Strange New Kindle Worlds
Great idea. There are a few titles on Kindle Worlds that I keep meaning to get to, so this is a great reminder and hopefully a good opportunity to expose others to those works.

Re: Strange New Kindle Worlds
Any interest in these yet? I finally went back and finished the story I started years ago
It's actually become somewhat timely in character choice. The publishing process is fairly straightforward if anyone is curious.
There are still stories being submitted by fans, but it doesn't look like Valiant has expanded the worlds offerings beyond the initial title choices. Unity provides the most flexibility, but I'd love to see Rai or 4001 as a topic option. Another interesting thing I noticed is that years ago when the Valiant worlds became available, there was Valiant stock art provided for covers. Now there is none whatsoever.

"Sorry, no. You are absolutely about to pepper spray the wrong guy."

Re: Strange New Kindle Worlds
I read Tom King's "Harbinger: Salvation Sally," I thought it was pretty interesting; I also bought his other one, "Harbinger: You Are Not the First and There Will Be More After You" and Stuart Moore's "Shadowman: Sunshine and Shadow," but haven't gotten around to reading either yet. Any others you recommend? I love the idea of of some 4001 stories.
Life, uh, finds a way.
Re: Strange New Kindle Worlds
I read Shadowman: The Red Sash and thought it was pretty good (was a couple of years ago that I read it) and Q&W: Oh the Hugh Manatee, which was a quick, silly read that seemed to fit the characters.
