VEI Glassware
I got the new pint glasses today. They are pretty sweet. I especially like the Harbinger Wars set that comes in a black Valiant box. I received the 5 other pint glasses loose. Top quality.
If anyone has an Armor Hunters pint glass they would be willing to part with, I'd love to add it to my collection! Great excuse for me to build the bar set I've always wanted.

Re: Valiant Pint Glasses
I'm not sure what that last glass is. I don't think it exists.

I got mine through my old LCS, which I now get through mail order. He cut me a nice discount, but shipping ate most of it up. I see MidtownComics has at least a few, if not all of them.

Re: VEI Glassware
If someone could post pictures of the actual glasses and not the mock-ups, I would love to see them.
I am very surprised these are available from Diamond only a couple months late. This speaks to VEI's commitment - it would have been easy for this to get pushed off into the future month after month.
My fear is the ability to sell them in the comic shops and the quantity that they had manufactured which will be stored at Diamond. I certainly hope they do extremely well.

I'll try and get some photos up when I'm home. Quality is really nice. The packaging for the Harbinger set is awesome. I didn't get any special packaging for the other cups. I was really surprised at the quality, having grown up on Pizza Hut superhero glasses!

My friend just brought me one from Midtown Comics location in NYC Times Square.
Plain white box, all sides, no markings.

Thanks Greg! Keep them out of the dishwasher if you want it to stay looking that good. Soap and hot water in the sink.

You say that like I would ever put a drink in it.ckb wrote:Thanks Greg! Keep them out of the dishwasher if you want it to stay looking that good. Soap and hot water in the sink.
What?!?
Next you're going to tell me that comic books are for reading and that factory-sealed toys are for playing.
Who would do that?!?

I'm exactly the opposite. I can't stand things to be stuck in their packages and books in slabs. (Although truly "mint" items are very fun to see)

I'd probably send you video of me reading one of your AF #15 while eating pork rinds...

That's why you have to buy 2 of each 1 to read or play with and one to collect. That also explains why I am broke most the time.

Re: VEI Glassware
The 8bit set has been delayed for months. Not sure where I'll get that set, if it comes out.
