Ive run into some finical woes and my health isn't doing good at all. So, I'm selling off my ENTIRE comic book collection.
Here I'll list what Valiant's I have to sell. I'll be selling not just raw books but my CGC & all the extra promo stuff, etc.
I'm even letting go the Original art & color pages I have as well.....whats listed is what I have left from a complete VH1 & VH2 run

Heart attack, kidney failure, open heart surgery (triple bypass) x2, amputated leg...all in 3 years....
I need some money to keep up with medical bills and survive LIFE!!

Would be very interested to see what you have available for the CGC and promo items, but I'll try and be patient like everyone else. Will gladly help you out here, if at all possible.

In 2006 I had a heart attack. They found 3 out of 5 arteries were 100% blocked. I had open heart surgery, triple bypass. But as the surgery started my kidneys failed on the table so the weren't able to complete the bypass. I was put on dialysis & 2 weeks later they did the open heart surgery again. That night 2 bypass' broke free and I started internal bleeding and almost bled to death internally, so back on the table I went for my heart to be opened again. They told my mum to make funeral arrangements as my heart has been through so much in such a little time. I was put into a coma for a few days but obviously made it through.

Almost 5 years of dialysis. 3 days a week for 7 hours each visit, M-W-F. In 2009 I cut the bottom of my foot, the size of a dime. I then spent just under 1 year trying to fight off the infection that set in within a week that spread directly to the bone and started to travel up my leg. I was on IV anti biotic 7 days a week for 4 months. Off & on hospital stays. Finally May-2010 I stepped down and fell over, I broke every bone in my foot up to high ankle. The infection made my bones so soft. My leg was amputated 2 days later.

Now, the silver lining....ON Christmas Day (12:18 am , but who can remember the exact time lol) we ( my son & I) just got home from Christmas Eve with my mother and the phone rang....they found a kidney for me!!!!! After more scares...the transplant went well. It has changed my life dramatically. But because of my leg I cant drive so I had to sell off my car. I bought a moped and during good weather (which is 3 months here in Detroit) I can sorta get around. But I have type 1 diabetes since 1977 & I'm now getting a lot of the side effect for having it so long & my body is giving up the fight....I just turned 42 on Sept-24. So, now that you heard my sob story (the cliff notes version). I can't work, I own my house and am ONLY getting my Social Security, NO other aide. I fall in a loophole for food aide and other aide. soooooo this is why I need to sell off everything, not just my Valiant but my whole comic collection & some other collectables.

I have been part of this GREAT board for many years and made many great people. I would just like my comics to go to those I know who will appreciate them as much as I do! These are all special to me, each issue has a story...but I can no longer keep deciding....do I eat today or buy my pills (all 23 of them). GOD BLESS & thanks for reading my rant!

Geez sorry to hear this. I've never talked to you, but it sounds like some of the older board members talk very highly of you so I'm sorry to hear this. I hope some good happens to you to turn around the bad luck you've had. It's nice to see the tigers doing well!

P.S. My Grandmother lived with Type 1 Diabetes the majority of her life and she passed in 2009 at 95.
