Star Wars - QUESTION about ESB figures
Would those of you who are experts in these things let me know what I've got here?
(I guess I'm asking for an estimate on value...)

Something purty methinks !!!
Prices on these vary from US to UK and i haven't dealt in carded figures for close to ten years now.
There arent a huge amount of ESB carded versions on ebay, though prices are nuts across the board.
A few nice re carded ones can now be easily sold to the wrong person as originals and i wonder how often that crap is practiced?

these two will hurt the pocket.

The Bespin Han was the 2nd or 3rd Han figure, if you count Hoth Han. Endor Han was from ROTJ and I'm pretty sure the figure in the top pix is the Endor Han with the coat removed and then placed on an ESB card by some scammer.Draco wrote:They are very clean arent they, but isnt that the second Han they produced?IMJ wrote:It looks to me like someone took a ROTJ Endor Han Solo, removed the camo trench coat and then re-carded the figure on a repro vintage ESB card.
On the other hand, there are more Star Wars variants out there than I'll ever know about, so who knows?

The bubbles are too clear and crisp as well, but no weapons is not good either, lol.greg wrote:The fact that neither figure has a weapon is a sure sign they're not originals (of any variation), right?
Were they a gift, cheap purchase?

Rebelscum has the best gallery on the Vintage line:
http://www.rebelscum.com/VINfigures.asp
Here's the carded Bespin Han:
http://www.rebelscum.com/VINtHanbespin.asp
The first figure defintley looks like the Endor version of Han Solo:

Zuckuss looks like he was packed with a long rifle:
http://www.rebelscum.com/VINtZuckuss.asp
If you score any of the "Droids" animated figures, those are awesome to get. Vintage or custom.

Ok, that rebelscum link just ate up 2 1/2 hours of my afternoon. So much info, and reminiscing.
This post has been carefully constructed so as to add absolutely nothing to any discussion or topic.

That site has the best Star Wars comic gallery on the net for all the Marvel/UK/Dark Horse runs too. And the rare variants.dbngaa wrote:Ok, that rebelscum link just ate up 2 1/2 hours of my afternoon. So much info, and reminiscing.

Re: Star Wars - QUESTION about ESB figures
I concur; the Han is clearly the Endor version without the coat on a repo card. I can’t imagine a legit scenario where one (without the blaster and coat) could have been packaged on an ESB card anyway.
