Hey guys, just thought I'd give someone a heads up, nice Harby #1 CGC 9.8 ends on comiclink tonight in about 15 mins, only at around $200.

I sold mine last year for around $2000. this is a huge dip.

CGC books in general are not demanding the high prices they were anyways any more. Looks like the fad is passing.

This only applies to modern and copper age books. Let's face it, most books after the Silver Age are not rare in high grade. Even bronze age books have been going on a declining streak over the years. The only slabs that can maintain or even appreciate in value are books that are scarce or mega keys. In this case, Harbinger #1 does not fall in either category.

If you collect slabs for investment, the safest bet is to go for Golden age and Silver Age mega keys. Books like AF#15 will not be going down anytime soon.

I recall you saying either here or at vcs that you were getting out of slabs, due to ? falling prices and easier to achieve high grade prices.
