Magnus meets Star Wars commission pencils
I thought I would share my latest commission. It is by Dan Parsons who is currently working on Dark Horses book Star Wars Republic. This is just the pencils, he will be inking it as well.

Cool idea. The Star Wars universe is a good place for a robot fighter.x-omatic wrote:I thought I would share my latest commission. It is by Dan Parsons who is currently working on Dark Horses book Star Wars Republic. This is just the pencils, he will be inking it as well.

I haven't decided yet. Perhaps myself. I used to sketch a pretty mean Magnus back in the day...magnusr wrote: So Ric, who you gonna commission for the Borg Fighter?![]()

I can almost see a comic-themed episode of Crank Yankers based on the above...magnusr wrote: PS, I found 170 matches for Magnus Borg in the Swedish phone dictionary.

Maybe I will have him do that next.BodaZoffa wrote:Nice...! Can't wait to see the inks.
I think a Magnus commission putting him in the Post Apocolyptic World of the Terminator would be cool too!

Thats for the kind words. Dan Parsons is available for commissions and it was under $100.00. I posted a link to his website in the first post for any who are interested. You can also see his inks on the Star Wars Republic book.

Which terminator? Arnold's or the other guy? T-1000 I believe. I dont think that he could take out a T-1000. I mean the only way that arnie took it out was to melt it. I dont think that magnus could hit it so hard it would melt. However he might be able to take out arnie's terminator since it was basically a metal endoskeleton with flesh on the outside.Sect wrote:hmm...that got me thinking... would Magnus be able to win against Terminator since it is "liquid metal" and would break?
btw Magnus in Star Wars is sweet...haha i can imagine him decapitating C3PO or smashing R2D2

I have to go beat myself up now.

Magnus would definitly be able to stop arnold's T-800 model 101 or his 850 series model 101 from T3 (which sucked). He would have to smash it to pieces though since it doesn't stop until it's shut down. The T1-X would probably not cause too many problems for him either. The T-1000 is an interesting one though. Maybe he could hit it hard enough to achieve resonance and cause it to vibrate into kinetic energy (feel free to destroy my logic). Most likely he'd be sneaky and do something similar to what he did against that robot who's skin he couldn't break, I forget his name but it was the one that was also in the Gold Key books that he fought right after Unity.
