Valiant and me!
Hey all,
Kind of new here. I frequented the board a few years ago but fell out of Valiant collecting for a while. I was a major hoarder. When valiant suffered it's first death I began to buy up every last bit of pre-unity Valiant I could find. I did pretty well I had at least 10 copies of each big book and 2 or 3 of the Golds, plats, red, pink...etc etc. Valiant back issues started to come back into the spotlight at around the same time my ex-wife got pregnant with our daughter so I did something many of you might be able to relate too...I sold it all. I was sad to see it go, and thought it would be much harder to get it back since it seemed to be back on the up. Fast forward five years... I got more deeply involved in the collectible toy and comic selling world. A friend of mine who owns a Comic store here in RI had been hoarding Valiants since he opened 6 years ago. He had a nice long box of pre-unity books that he was sick of looking at. I went down bought the whole box and have once again plunged back into the world of Valiant comics. I joined back up with the site to get info, meet other great valiant collectors and hopfully score some great books. I want to get into the CGC end of collecting also so I thought this would be a great place to start. I have a bunch of stuff I need and a bunch to sell from the box so I hope to be talking to all of you soon
